⚽ NEW – New Longton Rovers Soccer School! ⚽

Do you have a little one in Year 1 who would love to give football a go?

This September, we’re launching our New Longton Rovers JFC Soccer School, giving local girls and boys the chance to have fun, learn some football skills and take their first steps into organised football in a friendly and supportive environment.

🟢 Open to Under 6s / Year 1 children
⚽ Weekly coaching with fully qualified coaches
📍 Hutton Grammar School Sports Hall
📅 Tuesdays, 5.45pm–6.45pm
🎉 First session completely FREE

There’s no need for your child to have played football before — the sessions are all about having fun, building confidence, making friends and enjoying the game.

Our first session is Tuesday 22 September, and we’d love to welcome some new young players along!

Grassroots football is about so much more than just the game. It’s a safe space where our local children learn teamwork, build lifelong friendships, and grow their confidence both on and off the pitch.

At New Longton Rovers, we are incredibly proud to support so many young people in our community… but we couldn't do it without your amazing support! ❤️

The new term has started at School which means our New Longton Rovers JFC Soccer School is almost ready to launch for kids now in Year 1. Starting on 23rd September and running every Tuesday at Hutton Grammar School Sports Hall between 5:45 and 6:45. Contact Nick asap as places are limited and filling up fast

*Under 8 Football Opportunity*

New Longton Rovers now has two spaces available within its under 8 Reds team for the 2025/26 season. We are seeking two players with the intention for one of those to focus on the Goalkeeper position, previous playing experience is great but absolutely not must have. Need to be available for Training Tuesday evenings and games on Saturday mornings, additional specialist goalkeeper training is also available (free of charge) Monday evenings. They would be joining a great bunch of boys who have played together for approaching 2 years and are looking forward to the new season starting in September.
