What an evening for a run in the sun! ๐Ÿ˜

Our Tuesday prowl saw the return of Sarah after a 3 year break, by no means a lazy time though! Smashing out 3 marathons along the way. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ…

Making the most of the dry conditions we took to some scenic paths off Lindle Lane to complete our 5k this week.

This Sunday 3rd May sees our first ever joint run with Lime Bar for a community 5k. Come and join us from 10:45am for an 11am start to the run (or walk!). Thereโ€™ll be pizza and music afterwards and of course a great atmosphere! Any children that participate will be given medals ๐Ÿฅ‡ for their efforts ๐Ÿฅฐ

It should be a wonderful family event.

Thatโ€™s our 5th year and 2025 wrapped up! Where has that time gone?!

Itโ€™s been another great year for us here at Panthers. Weโ€™ve added some new faces and seen the return of some of the OGโ€™s. One thing weโ€™re big on here is being a no pressure running club.

That being said we arenโ€™t messing about! Weโ€™ve everything from pregnant mums to ultra marathon runners just coming together through the love of getting out with great people.

Thanks for your support throughout the year. Weโ€™ll be back in our usual spot, Sainsburyโ€™s on Birch Avenue every Tuesday at 7pm.

The Penwortham Panthers are back out for their Tuesday prowl.

Tonight we ran our 7pm 5k through Hurst Grange Park for a bit of shade, heading back to HQ via booths and Howick Moor Lane.

Well done to everyone who managed to get to run the marathons at Manchester or London this weekend. Our very own Vijay and Helen braved the heat in Manchester, completing the course in 6:10 and 4:50 respectively. Well done guys ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’จ

We are that much of a top notch running group that people are literally falling over themselves to run with usโ€ฆโ€ฆ.ainโ€™t that right Katie?! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿšจ

Despite the emergency first aid treatment that was very kindly dished out by Sainsburyโ€™s staff, I think we had a good run tonight!

Weโ€™ve had a few walkers setting off early doors as well as the usual 7pm 5k and lots of early runners too clocking in more distance. Thereโ€™s something for everyone here!

Well done to Helen for smashing out the Sheffield half, knocking an unreal 9 minutes off last years time. ๐Ÿ˜ณ
Sophie ran the Liverpool half trying to break her 1:50 nemesisโ€ฆ.she only went and ran a 1:46:03!! Intervals paid off! ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Definitely a last but not least moment here! Our Queen running bee Andrea only went and missed her Friday 6am run because she was getting MARRIED! Looking an absolutely stunning pair and what a location! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ‘ฐ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคต๐Ÿป

Tonight for our 7pm 5k we ran our favourite loop! Well done team for getting out and getting the extra miles in. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’จ

Tonightโ€™s 7pm 5k took us down Hill Road South with a few getting a run in before. Well done Dipesh for getting an extra 2k in afterwards after setting his watch off too late. If it ainโ€™t on strava it didnโ€™t happen! ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’จ

Itโ€™s been a busy weekend of running for us too! A big crew turned out for the Preston parkrun. Jon and Caroline ran the lytham 10 miler. As did Paul in a cracking time of 1hr 6mins ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ
Chris and Stuart had an epic trail run up longridge fell and the Tolkien Trail, clocking in a 12 miler. Ultra training has begun! โ›ฐ๏ธ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’จ

For tonightโ€™s route we ran the old favourite loop for our 7pm 5k. Again a few sneaked in extra kโ€™s before and after, great efforts everyone! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’จ

We also had the legendary Chris Pilkington join us! Great to have you back again pal! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ
