⚽ Local Fulwood School Girls to Represent England at Prestigious International Football Tournament
Fulwood, Lancashire – Girls from Our Lady's Catholic High School are preparing to represent England on the international stage after becoming National Schools Champions for the second consecutive year.
The team secured their place at the prestigious International British Isles Schools Tournament following a superb 3–1 victory over Chislehurst School for Girls in the National Final at Stoke in May. Their remarkable achievement means they will now compete against the very best school teams from across the British Isles.
The tournament will take place at the National Sports Centre, Lilleshall, where the squad will spend three days competing in a series of high-quality fixtures while living on site with teams from across the British Isles.
Representing England is a tremendous honour and recognition of the girls' exceptional commitment, teamwork and determination throughout the season. It is also a wonderful opportunity for them to develop confidence, resilience and leadership while creating memories that will last a lifetime.
