The Paula Boscott School of Dance, Garstang Adults & childrens classes: Ballroom, Latin, Freestyle, Rock n Roll, FitSteps, private lessons, first wedding dance, dinner dances, social nights & tea dances.

Principal:Paula Boscott - IDTA qualified teacher, RSA level 2 fitness instructor, FitSteps. The Paula Boscott School of Dance Garstang is a family run business established in 2005 offering dance classes in Garstang, Catterall, Cabus and Scorton. All classes are taught by Principal Paula Boscott, qualified IDTA teacher, qualified RSA level 2 fitness Instructor, and Fitsteps instructor. If you love to dance we're the school for you. For children we have classes from 2- 18years in Ballroom, Latin, Freestyle and Rock n Roll. We aim to develop your child's confidence and equip them with skills that will benefit them throughout their lives. Children are given the opportunity to take part in competitions, IDTA exam sessions, our annual awards/showcase ceremony, and charter theatre shows every two years. All of our classes work on fitness & flexibility, posture & poise and above all are FUN! We also offer adult classes in Ballroom & Latin, private lessons, dinner dances, social nights, dance breaks and first wedding dance choreography, and if you don't have a partner but would like to come along and dance the ballroom and latin rhythms and get fit, we also teach Fitsteps. All adult ballroom classes are taught by husband & wife team David and Paula Boscott. In 2012 we were chosen by the BBC as the only dance school to work with Len Goodman and appear in the televised documentary 'Len Goodman's Dancing Feet'. 💃 FITSTEPS: The Ballroom and Latin Dance Fitness class, choreographed to burn the calories, tone up, have fun, and learn some Strictly moves 💃

🪩 Restarts Monday 7th September.
7.15- 8.15pm at Kirkland and Catteral Memorial Hall PR3 0HR

💃 We also offer a lower impact style class FITSTEPS FAB on a Friday morning. 10.25 - 11.25am at St Thomas’s Church Hall, Garstang. PR3 1PA

🤔Ever wondered about learning to dance. Here’s some of our top reasons why we think you should take the first step and learn to dance 💃🕺

1️⃣ Do it for you 🫵 ….when was the last time you tried something new, felt a sense of achievement, made time for you?

2️⃣ Do it for your partner ❤️…..we often hear ‘I’d love to, but my partner won’t do it!’.
Do something for each other. It’s only six weeks…..initially 🤣

3️⃣ Do it for your health…..it’s no secret how good dancing is for us, both mentally and physically. The health benefits are phenomenal 💓

4️⃣ Do it for the community…. Money spent on dance lessons gets reinvested into the community. Every year we pay thousands of pounds to our community venues/ village halls which all helps to keep them going!

5️⃣ Do it for US!…… Many of you often see us waltzing around Garstang, with our four legged friend 🐶 Dancing has been our life, we met dancing, and could never imagine life without it. We’ve been teaching in Garstang for 21 years now, and would love to continue for another 21 🙏💃🕺
