If you’ve read my recent newsletter (check your junk or sign up via my website if you haven’t) you’ll know that I’ve had a tough time recently, to the point where I thought I’d fallen out of love with yoga...and that really scared me. I’d not practiced for myself for months and I knew I wasn’t putting my heart and soul into my offerings, which was really s**t. But since I went back into full time employed work, and gave up teaching full time, reducing my timetable to two or three classes a week, I feel like I’ve fallen in love with yoga all over again. I can feel my creativity returning, my mojo, my drive. I can feel my passion for the ancient practice returning. I can feel my ideas coming to fruition again, like it’s given me a new zest for life. And I’m excited about it. And this got me to thinking - maybe I was never supposed to be a full time yoga teacher at this stage in my life. Maybe I was only ever supposed to teach a couple of classes a week. Yes, teaching full time served a purpose for a year or two, but perhaps it’s just not my time, my season. And you know what, I’ve made peace with that, and I’m happy with what I’m doing right now because I’m able to really dial in to what it is I want to offer my students to ensure they get the best from their practice. So if you’ve not practiced for a while or you’re keen to start, come and join me on the mat, Mondays 6.30pm at Sacred Heart Community Centre, Ashton, Preston 🩷🧘♀️🧘🏻♂️🧘🏽🩷 All welcome
