Three weeks from now, the rivers will open once again… and truth be told, I wasn’t sure I’d even be standing here to see it.

After breaking both my elbows, even the simplest things became difficult.

Three short weeks remain until the rivers open once again and this film is a quiet reminder that fishing does not need to be complicated. One rod, simple tactics, and a willingness to slow down can still bring unforgettable days on the bank.

Travel light. Keep it simple. Appreciate every moment.

A recent picture of a beautiful healthy barbel, although I haven’t started my barbel fishing campaign… she was truly welcome. 82cm with a head on her like a colliers shovel. 🪏Perch and Chub also on the light spinning gear.
