JJ’s Tennis Aces was started by myself, Jonathan Jones, in 2003. The coaching team, lead by myself, offers group coaching and junior tennis lessons for all junior age groups from 3 years old and older. Adult coaching is also offered as group sessions as Tennis Xpress as well as private lessons. I have been a successful tennis coach for over 15 years. My qualification is CCA club coach award with t

5.30 - 6.30pm Mini Orange Tennis aged 7-10 years at Prestatyn Tennis Club
6.30 - 7.30pm Mini Green Tennis aged 11 years and over at Prestatyn Tennis Club

4.00 - 5.00pm Mini Tennis aged 3-7 years at Prestatyn Tennis Club
5.00 - 6.00pm Mini Orange Tennis aged 8-11 years at Prestatyn Tennis Club
6.00 - 7.00pm Yellow Ball Tennis aged 12 years and over at Prestatyn Tennis Club

10am-11am LTA Youth aged 12 years and over at Denbigh Tennis Club
11am-12noon LTA Youth aged 8-11 years at Denbigh Tennis Club

Adult Coaching
Currently Adult Tennis Xpress is a beginner adult introductory coaching course for players who want to learn the basics of the sport. Tennis Xpress is centred on the use of modified equipment such as slower bouncing green and orange balls to ensure that players quickly learn the game of tennis; being able to serve, rally and score by the end of the course. Private Lessons are available throughout the week.

What a weekend of competition Prestatyn Tennis Club. Started of with 20 players playing in the Internal mixed doubles competition. Congratulations to Chris and Ffion for winning the competition. Some excellent tennis and lovely to see the juniors competing with adults. Then yesterday a brilliant afternoon of competition for the Under 8’s and Under 9’s. Brilliant sportsmanship and brilliant to see new players learning to play the game. The next competition is on Saturday 22nd June from 2pm. Alastair was a major part of the progression of tennis in North Wales. A lively, competitive gentleman who is dearly missed in the tennis World. Please try and enter the tournament or try and get down to support.
