Division 1 final

Division 1 stats player of the year
What a battle between some top top players fighting for No 1 on the stats
Dave Cooke of Bar 300 A eventually Just piping last seasons Division 1 Individuals Winner Jon Roberts to the top but only by 2% !
3 regular players in the top half of the stats, with Dave Holmes of Royal Oak finishing 5th and Royal Oak Captain Andy Messenger getting 4th and top player Michael Heywood of new Champions Pot C finishing in 3rd

and I think I will see you all at presentation

Division 2 stats player of the year
Tony Dillon this year has finished this season on a high after only losing 7 frames in the league all season and therefore top of the stats for division 2,
runner up Dave Mcclelland takes 2nd place after his team go up to divison 1 with the Imp A.
So in 5th sees Ashley Higham in his 1st season in the RSPL which is great along with being runner up in the doubles and semi finalist in the division 2 singles great 1st season !
another Imp A player Dave Sephton takes 4th & 3rd spot is taken by Gareth Jilge of the Sun inn.

Division 3 stats, player of the year
this year we see Gareth Breeze of the Imperial B finish in top spot but it was a fight all the way from Afon Goch's Medwyn Jones which not to long ago you couldn't figure who would win it last years winner Ant Rigby of The Magpie takes up 5 (at the moment due to very late card) Graham Harris of the pot B team currently in 4th and another Afon Goch player take 3rd spot

Well another season gone and another tight finish in 2 divisions 1 & 3!
In division 1 Pot C are the new Champions and runners up Royal Oak which again similar to last year finished tight with only 3 points difference !, so its the usual 3 at the top congrats to Pot C finishing top of the pile with Royal Oak 2nd and Bar 300 A 3rd, unfortunately at the bottom it sees a team who have been in the top division for a while go down to division 2 along with Kentigern.
Question is will any teams challenge the top 3 next season ?

Division 2 Champions make a quick return to the top flight after winning the league very comfortably with a huge 39 point gap and only losing 1 match to Sun Inn, going up with the imp for the 1st time is Central Beach B but by only 1 WIN ! both Central beach B & Bryn Dinas A finished on same points but Bryn Dinas A lost one more than the team above, but this is Bryn A's 1st season and did extremely well getting 3rd place to receive a trophy
Relegated from Division 2 after again being in 2nd division for a long time is the Cob & Pen B along with the cob going down after 1 season in division 2 is Royal Vic, can they both get promotion next season and bounce right back ??

Finally division 3 another big battle at the top between 3 teams ! which seen Pot B victorious and take the top spot and earn promotion to division 2 by 1 yes just ONE point ! ... going up as well as the Pot will be Bryn Dinas B another 1st season for the 2nd Bryn Dinas team which means who will finish higher next season Bryn A or Bryn B ?
Taking 3rd trophy spot is the Afon Goch who earlier moved to the Sun Inn due to Afon goch closing but they only just missed out on promotion by 3 points !

Battle at the bottom was the Jolly Sailor there 1st season with a mostly new team and again not many points between them and Imperial B
so will the bottom teams improve for next winter ??

So only 3 league matches left who's going get top spot in each of the leagues ?
Who's going to get runners up and claim 3rd place ? Division 1 just to hard to split them !

Division 2 Imperial look odds on to win it 🤔, with Cen beach B, Bryn Dinas A, sun and possibly Cen beach A fighting for 2nd or 3rd ?

Division 3 is again tight at the top with new comers Bryn Dinas B being top of the pile but only 9 points behind them Afon Goch and Pot B ! With Magpie coming in for a late run in 😮

(We need Stewart Purslow's commentary from last season ! Lol)

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

All teams that collected annual trophies or sheilds last season 2015/16

Could you make sure they are all cleaned and in the same condition that you collected them please.

We will have to collect them all in next month ready for this years winners & runners up etc

PLEASE TAKE NOTE AS AGREED AT THE AGM AND ALSO IN LEAGUE RULES ANY TROPHIES OR SHEILDS THAT ARE DAMAGED IN ANY WAY MUST BE PAID FOR
