Brilliant from the boys today against a team that hasn't lost a competitive league game in over two years to win in the manner we did and also to also keep a cleansheet
Brilliant boys keep this form up!!!!

1st half
We started abit slow the first 2 minutes,then we started,then the boys show the quality they have and impose themselves in the game playing some really good passing football just after we went 3-0 up the engery levels dropped till halftime which the opposition took hold of the game more but failed to create a real golden opportunity,which is a credit to the boys.

2nd half
The second half became a very scrappy game at times between the two sides but we looked the most likely to score of the two teams it was a very mature and disciplined performance from the boys im very happy with the second half performance only thing i can complain about is not being more ruthless.

1st half
GOAL CELTS:1-0 after some tidy play in Midfield Noah played the ball down the wing to Hayden who crossed the ball with the outside of his foot to Clayton who turned his man and finished intonthe bottom corner
GOAL CELTS:2-0 it came from Noah working hard to win the ball back he drove towards the goal and finished to the keepers near post
GOAL CELTS:3-0 PENALTY!! That came from Noah chasing the ball down he knocked it around the keeper who clattered into him.
Rhys stepped up to take the penalty and place into the bottom corner

2nd half
GOAL CELTS:4-0 PENALTY!! it came from some tidy feet in the box which the defender brought Thomas down
Rhys stepped up to take the penalty and fired into the top corner this time.

What impressed us about Rhys today is his organisation at the back making sure his teammates were in position and winning all his duels against some extremely good forwards and dispatched two brilliant penalties

Clayton has done really well through out the month of July,he only returned to football in April after taking a year out of the game,he is a very talented player with a cracking left,who works really hard in training and games and consistently puts in brilliant performances on matchdays,well done Clayton keep it up mate!!

We started abit of a slow first 5 minutes,then started to grow into the game, more and more, then after our first goal,We become more and more dominate as the game went on,hitting the post a few times,some other really good chances,and limiting Sports to a few of efforts off target one of the most mature and displined performances I've seen from the lads.
A brilliant performance from the boys.

1st half
GOAL CELTS:1-0- Its starts with Max when he intercepts the ball on the halfway line , gives it to the ball to Hayden he turns his man and plays a first time through ball to Clayton he takes a touch and smashes it between the keepers legs.

GOAL CELTS:2-0- when Mason played the ball down the line to Clayton who played the ball to the penalty spot where Thomas was to place the ball into the bottom corner.

2nd half
GOAL CELTS:3-0 - The goal came from Clayton playing the ball to Noah who drove to the byline and pulled it back to Hayden who took a touch and finished into the bottom corner.

Darragh was defensively outstanding in this game,i didn't see him get beat defensively one on one,won most duels and got forward as much as possible.

We started our league campaign today.It wasn't the 5 star performance we expected, but nevertheless, we got the result we wanted.There is a lot to improve.We had poor performances for the first game of the season for the last free season , so it's not a worrying sign,but we must improve

I must say CPD Y RHYL made sure it wasn't going to be an easy game,They battled for every first ball and second ball and punished any errors that were made

GOAL CELTS :1-0 Tarik scores a tap in from close range after Noah's shot was saved.
GOAL RHYL :1-1 A very silly penalty conceded but great penalty from the opposition Riley unlucky not to save it.
GOAL CELTS: 2-1 Jackson plays a through ball to Noah who finishes the one on one.
GOAL RHYL:2-2 the player was allow to beat 3 players with no meanful tackle put it then a through ball then the player finishes nicely.
GOAL CELTS: 3-2 Tarik plays the ball to Thomas across the box who smashes past the keeper.
GOAL CELTS:4-2 Noah crosses the ball in Rhys has time to bring it down and pass past the keeper.
GOAL CELTS:5-2 Noah beats his man on the wing and plays the ball across the box for Rhys to tap in.
GOAL RHYL:5-3 abit of chaos confusion between the defender and keeper allowed Rhyl to score.
GOAL RHYL:5-4 Rhyl play beat our keeper to the ball then to score into an empty net.
GOAL CELTS:6-4 Jack plays the ball down the line and Noah beats the keeper one on one
GOAL CELTS:7-4 Rhys crosses the ball the defender trys cutting it out and puts it into his own net.
GOAL CELTS:8-4 Rhys plays the ball through for Noah who smashes it past the keeper.
GOAL CELTS:9-4 Rhys plays the ball to Hayden plays it through for him and he finishes his one on one.
GOAL CELTS:10-4 Hayden played the ball down the line to Rhys had the audacity to do a rebona to cross it in,it lobbed the keeper and went into the net.

Our league campaign starts tomorrow against CPD Y RHYL we are pleased to confirm our squad for the upcoming season

J&L TOURNAMENT
7th AUGUST

We knew it would be a difficult tournament and we would face some difficult opposition who have played 11v11 for over a year now when this is our first couple of months of doing so. The lads started off so poorly but as the day went on we got better and better and ended up winning a trophy to take home

The lads played reallly well create numerous chances but as the game went on you could see but some really tired legs the game ultimately ended 0-0

We were absolutely brilliant in this game we seemed like we had a new energy after the win on penalties in semi finals it was 2-0 in within minutes of the game we could have had a couple more throughout the game but well done to the boys!!!

DEESIDE TOURNAMENT

Europa league runners up

It was abit of a mixed day for the lads today
The tournament had no offside rule which was annoying teams they play good football seemed to be getting punished.

1st Game- Flint Town 1-0 W
Some brilliant football and completely dominate performance.

2nd Game-Deeside Munich 1-0 W
Some even better football in this game we should have scored more.

3rd Game-Borras Park Albion Blues 5-1 L
I really cant put into words what happened in the game a complete collapse kept conceding goals on the counter attack trying to get back in the game.

4th Game-St Asaph 2-0 L
Another poor display from the lads.

Semi final
Some absolutely brilliant football on display some of our best football of the day,also a huge moment of fair play at 0-0 when when the ball went out for a goalkick and opposition player picked it up to give it to the keeper,and the ref gave a penalty, and Hayden chose to pass it to the goallkeeper, as it wasn't the penalty but boys ended up comfortably winning the game 2-0 could have been more

Final-High Bebington Hearts 3-2 L
We started the final really good creating two really good opportunities but a mistake on a corner cost us a goal and the lads seemed to collapse for a couple minutes and conceded two quick goal they seemed shocking into life then and completely dominated the rest of the game we score two goals quick fire goals and were really unlucky not to equalise on two occasions unfortunately not enough time to get back in the game i really believe if we had two more minutes we equalise and possibly score another.

After this weekends training then ten days off to recharge the batteries ready for our club tournament the Ian Price Memorial Tournament.

The lads played well today at the start of both halfs but the hydration breaks really didn't help as it really killed rhythm and momentum,which made it difficult for us to get back playing.Which sports really took advantage on and there goals came from after each of the breaks
