WE'RE HIRING!
Due to continued expansion and increase in workload we have a vacancy for another mobile and depot based tyre technician.
Stone Tyres is by far the busiest and most recommended tyre garage in St Helens and our mobile tyre fitting division, Gorilla Tyres, just keeps going from strength to strength.
The role will be split between performing tyre changes, puncture repairs and wheel alignments at our depot in St Helens, giving customers honest advice about the condition of their tyres, no pushy sales, no sales targets and a focus on customer satisfaction every time.
You will also be working across the North West fitting tyres at customers homes, work or even as an emergency call out. We also provide cover for large fleet organisations meaning you could be redeployed to a rapid response job at short notice.
The vans are all fitted with top of the range Hofmann tyre changers and balancers and all jobs are sent to your telematics device which will direct you to the job. No need to use your phone as a sat nav!
No 2 days will be the same! This is a very fast paced job and requires the ability to work well as part of a team or individually on your own initiative.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5.30 and every other Saturday 8.30 to 3pm
Salary is £29,000 plus £100 bonus per month based on performance, attendance and punctuality NOT SALES, overtime available and out of hours call outs which are completely optional. Birthdays off with pay!
Dinner bought every Friday (Fat Friday 😂)
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Have a full UK driving license and entitlement to drive vans upto 3500kg
Have experience of mobile tyre fitting of car and van tyres.
Have a good record of attendance and punctuality.
Have great customer service skills and be outgoing.
Be able to adapt to a fast pace environment
Be able to work under pressure.
Be able to provide a C.V
Experience of Hunter Wheel alignment is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
