A super afternoon of tennis at HPTC yesterday for our friendly tournament. 7 players competing for the Centenary Trophy which was won by Steve Orchard, with Kirsty Ratcliffe taking second place. Congrats to you both and thank you to the players as well as the enthusiastic and supportive spectators! A BBQ followed, with a beverage or two, and lots of catching up amongst the members. The courts are looking good and we are anticipating plenty more tennis this season. See you all soon!

When it rains … dress up as a tennis ball and improvise! The tennis weather gods were not
smiling this afternoon but thank you to everyone who did visit Higher Poynton Tennis Club during our open day. We will try again in a few weeks so watch this space! If anyone would like a tour of the club and info on membership options please let us know. (FYI no clay court surfaces were harmed during this photo shoot!)
