We set our Spartans a tough test today - up against a very strong, premier league outfit from our friends at Thornton Cleveleys Football Club Lions.

My goodness did our boys step-up to the challenge - the grit and determination on display this morning was outstanding - and this lad absolutely typified that courage. Our man of the match this week covered every blade of grass and got a tackle in on every opposition player, twice. A brilliant performance 👏👏👏

A huge day for the Spartans as we say goodbye to MC, one of our original players from our earliest days, and coach Toby, who set our foundations.

The Spartans will keep going, but we will always that little bit lighter, without these two legends, and treasurer GC who has worked behind the scenes since day one.

These three legends will always be Spartans. We are so sad to see you go ❤️

The Spartans had a visit from Blackpool FC boss Ian Evatt this week, and he must of passed some class advice on to this young man - OT - he put in a stellar shift for the team this morning and bagged 2 richly deserved goals. Fantastic work 👏🏆

Our u12 Spartans are recruiting!!

We currently play in the 3rd division of 6, with matches on Saturday a.m. and training on Thursdays.

These lads are constantly working to improve their game - but we win some, we lose some, and we don't lose sleep either way. Life's too short for stress around the game.

Day one of ESF Festival of Football Ayr completed.

These lads have played some lovely football, and represented Poulton Football Club impeccably.

The coaches are immensely proud of them all and can't wait to see what they can produce tomorrow.
