The Spartans had a visit from Blackpool FC boss Ian Evatt this week, and he must of passed some class advice on to this young man - OT - he put in a stellar shift for the team this morning and bagged 2 richly deserved goals. Fantastic work 👏🏆

Our u12 Spartans are recruiting!!

We currently play in the 3rd division of 6, with matches on Saturday a.m. and training on Thursdays.

These lads are constantly working to improve their game - but we win some, we lose some, and we don't lose sleep either way. Life's too short for stress around the game.

If your resident Ronaldo is in yr7 and wants to improve their individual and team play, in a low- stress environment, drop coach Mike a message on 07581288098.

Day one of ESF Festival of Football Ayr completed.

These lads have played some lovely football, and represented Poulton Football Club impeccably.

The coaches are immensely proud of them all and can't wait to see what they can produce tomorrow.

This Saturday will be the last opportunity to donate our campaign to collect essential food items for Streetlife. If you are playing, coaching or watching at Cottam Hall, or even if you are just passing-by, please bring what you can, if you can, to help this amazing organisation to support homeless or otherwise vulnerable young adults in Blackpool 🙏🏻

A few player of the match awards to catch up on, from our fabulous spartans....

From Spartans vs Blackpool Wren Rovers FC - Juniors - in an absolute humdinger of a game, which ebbed and flowed, both teams showed some outstanding combination play, and scored some cracking goals. Player of the Match for the Spartans was awarded to HT for a brilliant work rate, blistering pace, fantastic skill, and some beautifully crafted link-up play with his team mates - a magnificent team player's performance 👏🏻👏🏻

From Spartans vs BJFF - Bispham Junior Football Federation Lasers - this was a tough game, against a very capable lasers team, but our Spartans showed some fantastic resilience and were determined to play some proper football, even when under pressure. This was typified by Player of the the Match TD, who never stops working to win the ball back for the team, and will always look to play a team mate in - always with a smile on his face too! Brilliant to see a young player enjoying working so hard for their team 👏🏻👏🏻

From Spartans vs CN Sports Football Club Cobras. CN came out of the blocks early and showed some fantastic team play, but the Spartans fought back, with the game turning into an absolute goal fest! Player of the Match was awarded to AT who led the line and the fight-back briliiantly - grabbing himself a few goals, and holding the ball up for others to build on. A cracking number 9 and number 10 display, rolled into 1 👏🏻👏🏻
