📢 Important Update – Class Bookings 📢

We’re absolutely loving seeing our classes becoming busier and busier! 💪 Because of the increase in attendance, all classes must now be booked through the Fortitude app.

This helps us:
✅ Keep classes running safely and fairly
✅ Make sure everyone has a space
✅ Help our instructors plan for numbers

Please note that if you haven’t booked onto a class, you may be turned away if it’s full.

Not a member but want to try one of our classes? No problem! Just email us with your full name and the class you’d like to attend, and we’ll get you added to the booking system.

🥤 PHASE 2 IS HERE… 👀

You may have noticed our brand-new shake menu has arrived! 🙌

As part of our full Bistro overhaul, we’re now into Phase 2, introducing a range of handcrafted protein shakes that taste just as good as they fuel your workouts.

From Cookie Dough and PB Supreme to Apple Crumble, Salted Banoffee and Paradise Punch, we’ve created something for every craving. 💪

Made fresh to order with your choice of milk, quality ingredients and packed with protein, they’re perfect before or after training… or simply as a healthier treat. 😍

And we’re not finished yet…

Phase 3 is already underway, with our meal prep menu beginning to roll out over the coming weeks. 🍽️

We’re constantly looking for ways to improve what we offer, and this is just another step in making Fortitude Fuel the perfect place to grab great food and drinks before or after your workout.

✨ Meet James ✨

At 37, James has already lived a life full of grit, discipline, and passion. He started out as a plumber, later moved into accountancy alongside his brother, and for the past 15 years he’s been a dedicated member of various gyms.

Inspired by his brother, James laced up his running shoes and began training for marathons. In 2020, they crossed the finish line of the Paris Marathon together in 4 hours and 26 minutes—an achievement that sparked a deep love for long-distance running.

From Paris to Rome and Berlin, James chased new challenges, pushing his limits and improving each time. His commitment to fitness grew so strong that he trained every single day, always striving to get faster, fitter, and stronger. Even when he found himself sleeping up to 16 hours a day, he brushed it off as just part of training hard.

In Prague, James ran his fourth marathon and achieved a personal best, crossing the line in an incredible 4 hours and 1 minute. 🏅
But that race would also change his life forever. Shortly after finishing, James suffered a serious medical emergency—an unexpected moment that reminded everyone how quickly life can change, even in the strongest and most determined among us.

James’ story is one of determination, resilience, and passion. It’s also a powerful reminder that the qualities we admire most—dedication, drive, ambition—can sometimes mask challenges we don’t immediately see, and that listening to our bodies truly matters.

Today, James continues to show remarkable strength and resilience, and we are so incredibly proud of how far he’s come—on and off the road. 💛
Let’s celebrate his journey, his achievements, and the courage it takes to keep moving forward.

Francesca and Jamie recently ran the full SuperHalfs series – an incredible journey across six iconic cities: Lisbon, Prague, Copenhagen, Berlin, Cardiff, and Valencia raising money for Street child.
A massive well done for some great work for a great cause.
