Wednesday 17th June to Tuesday 23rd June we will be delivering more safety themed classes.

Although at Stollies we encourage water safety in each lesson, this coming week will be more focused on more safety skills than swimming techniques and learn to swim program

As you may be aware, this week is Drowning Prevention Week. From tomorrow, we will be starting our awareness of drowning prevention.

This runs ever year and is held by the Royal Life Saving Society UK and is one of the largest pre summer water safety campaign's across the UK and Ireland.

We welcome bright colours to be worn for more visibility when in the water.

If your swimmers are awards 1 - 4, we welcome you to bring along shorts and t-shirt

If your swimmer is on Awards 5-7 and squad please do feel free to bring along long sleeved top and trousers, not jeans or hoodies.

No child should drown and with the right water safety knowledge of the Water Safety Code accidental drownings can be prevented.

As you know we already implement safety elements into every level of our award scheme, however over the course of drowning prevention week you will be seeing your more safety elements being implemented into your child's swimming lessons.
