The Feeney-Miller School of Irish Dancing

The Feeney-Miller School of Irish Dancing An Irish Dance School established in 1993 in Potters Bar, Herts. Now teaching in the area for 28 years. Exercise in a fun and engaging way! Céad míle fáilte!

Lessons cater for children aged 4 & upwards; adult classes for all abilities too. (A hundred thousand welcomes!)

As a fully qualified teacher registered with The Irish Dancing Commission, I have been running the Feeney-Miller School of Irish Dancing for 28 years in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire. I take children aged 4 & upwards and teach them the art of traditional Irish Step Dancing. I also cater f

or adults of all abilities too. Having experienced a huge surge in popularity, sparked by shows such as Riverdance - Irish dancing is a great way to improve a child's physical fitness, posture and overall concentration due to the structured nature of the steps and dances. The enjoyment of the dance is at the heart of my classes, which are held in a fun and sociable environment. However I also happily prepare children for open competitions and graded examinations should they wish to partake in them. As a school we regularly perform at local events, with previous displays including the Mayor's Ball, St Albans' Festival, Music in the Parks and many school fairs. The children thoroughly enjoy these opportunities to showcase what they have learnt - and parents often end up joining in the fun! Classes take place at Potters Bar Baptist Church Hall in Barnet Road, Potters Bar every Saturday (children's classes) and Thursday evening (adult classes). Should you have any questions at all, PLEASE DON’T HESITATE TO CALL/TEXT me on 07846 820 337.
