We, Sri Lankan Cavaliers Cricket Team (SLCCC) faced deeply concerning turn of events during the semi-final match of the “Sri Lankan Super League 2023” between Old Anandians’ Sports Club UK, (OASC UK) and SLCCC.

Recent revelations have exposed OASC UK of their cheating and the bending of rules overnight to secure a spot in the finals. The very essence of fair play, transparency, and sportsmanship seems to have been compromised, leaving us profoundly disappointed and disheartened.

We must remember that cricket is not just about winning at any cost; it is about embracing the spirit of the game and playing with honor and dignity, regardless of the outcome.

The below letter has been forwarded to the Principal of Ananda college which is self-explanatory.

We sincerely hope that this kind of unethical practices will not be repeated in the game we hold dear!
