I want you to struggle

People want it easy. They want shortcuts. They want convenience.

But the problem: growth doesn’t happen with easy.

Without obstacles to overcome you will not grow. You will stay stuck in complacent. Comfort zones are there enemy of progressions!

In order to evolve and become a stronger human, you need to push past barriers and break down the limitation of your own mind, body and soul.

Do you things that challenge you, do you things to scare you. It’s okay to get uncomfortable. Push, then push a little more.

Do this across all areas of your life, day by day, and slowly but surely you would be moulded into the warrior that you truly are!

If you always put limits on everything you do physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life.

Massive bench PR 110kg for 2 this week!

It’s been awhile since we passed 100kg, we have been nursing this injury nicely. Pain free 💪🏽

Simple requirements needed with enhancing my bench lift!
We don’t often get a PR on bench pressing but this is a mad one for me!

REAL TALK 🗣

I got some bad news for you….

Even though you may have all the time, resources, family, love or money in the world, they mean nothing without your health!

😔Similarly, you will not be able to acquire these things or enjoy them to their fullest if you have low energy, feeling down or are sick and unhealthy.

Think about it ? Don’t you want to feel your best and be around for your kids, grandchildren, love ones and watch them thrive?

What good is retiring with a giant pile of cash if you’re not able to travel and enjoy it because your to feeble?

❗️The best investment you can ever make is your own health.

It will literally save you time, pain, money and so much more, both in the long and short.

The trick is to simply START.

⏳If you keep on waiting for the “right moment” to action you will never get anything done.

True or false Arnold obtained his physique using only isolation exercises.

Every type of exercise has its place when it comes to gaining strength and building muscle. However, there seems to be a big misconception of what is optimal for quality physique.

It’s no mistake “gym bros” are often associated with nothing but bicep curls. Most casual gym goers completely avoid the squat and Deadlift areas.

Though isolation exercises such as curls have their place, let’s take a look at the best time to use isolation vs compound exercises:

Isolation exercises
☑️ Isolation are great for working around injuries. Compound lifts will often fire up several muscle groups at once which isn’t Ideal if you’re trying to avoid injury to specific part.

☑️ Isolation exercise are great for fixing muscle imbalance. Performing isolation will allow us to train each body part separately and bring up our weaker side.

☑️ Isolation movements are a great way to add volume to specific body parts without involving other muscle groups ( ex: performing chest flys to take a bit of the tricep out of the equation).

☑️ Finally, certain body parts can really only be trained using isolation exercises (ex: calves.)

Compound Exercise
✅ Compound will give you the most bang for your buck as you’re able to workout multiple muscle groups at once, maximising both your time and effort.

✅ Compound lifts increase hormonal changes that are fundamental for burning fat as well as building muscle. Testosterone and growth hormones for instance, are both spiked after just one set of intense squats or deadlifts.

✅ Compound exercise all you to use heavier loads that isolation lifts just won’t allow. Increasing your load and forcing a faster progression will lead to more strength and muscle gain.

Isolation movements have their place and should be used when appropriate. However, focus the majority of your attention on the big lifts such as squats, deadlifts, rows, and bench press ( with good technique)
