3 ol boys on Dolan Bikes were blessed with the weather today for a proper team effort in Flanders. The 3 of them did a bit of the Gent-Wevelgem (95km) and had a lot of fun 🤩.

Such an amazing film - this poor young guy gets diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer and given 6 months to live, then looses his brother, then decides to ride a tandem (solo, with no one on the back in memory of his dead brother) - from Bristol to Beijing!

A Life In Tandem tells the true story of Luke Grenfell-Shaw, who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer aged 24. Given months to live and leaving further tragedy ...

Great article about a great track

Britain’s velodromes tend to divide neatly into two eras. There are the hyper-modern indoor cathedrals of the 1990s onwards, built in the slipstream of Manchester’s rise and later fuelled by Olympic fever. Still own an old ‘Track iron’ that you used to ride around Alexandra Park Track in Pompey? Not ridden it (or any other bike) for a while? Maybe you feel a bit too old or a bit too overweight to ride anymore? (and feel a bit down about that too?)

We have the perfect solution: bring that battered old rig (the body we mean) down to the track on a Friday evening and join us for a 30 lap / 10 mile ride at your pace. No brakes, no cars, no hills, no posers half-wheeling you, no stress.

It’s as much a mental health excercise as a physical one - we check out of our egos and backstories as soon as we step on to the track and we look out for each other - all we ask is that your bike and helmet is in good condition, you know which way round to ride and what the Blue line is for 😉).

Not many clubs have kept their kit design as it was originally but maybe there’s quite a few that now wish they had? 🤔
