Seen bidding shoot up on this today. My 2p worth... its worth no more that a replica.

Its a size small.

None of those patches were put on by the kit room at the club.

The league patches are attached incorrectly with the sewing going over and around the edges- they were machine stitched just inside the edges.

Final the obvious one.. the anniversary patch is from the wrong season and the players had them on both arms.

You can go to ebay searches and pick advanced. Then select 'sold/completed' and it will show you the going rate of what ever you searched for.

Long sleeves were only for the kit room, only short sleeves were released as replicas in this season. We all think of Prosi when we see this shirt, but who were his support cast? Any random memories from that season. I'll start... Lee Shapre

The Ionx logo came and went, it wasn't alone in its indecisiveness... these Canterbury shoulder logos weren't consistent too.

Initially not on the players shirts, all replicas didnt have them. After a few months they appeared on the match shirts and then not there for others. The only replica shirts they were on are the special ones released for the FA Cup.

Im hoping these details dont play on my mind and I have to complete another spreadsheet of what matches they were used in 🫣

During the FA Cup winning season
had a different material on the players shirt to the replicas. Designed by Canterbury, the Ionx material
used an "Ionised Energy Fabric" that claimed to saturate the body with a negatively charged electromagnetic field.

They claimed this process improved the flow of oxygen-enriched blood to muscles, increasing overall power output, and aiding faster post-exertion recovery by reducing lactic acid buildup. All that science would give us the competative edge.

I mean, we won the so their claims must be true right?

The Ionx logos can be seen on the bottom of the front of the shirts and a small batch was also used that had it on the gold part of the neck on the back of the shirts. Later, that was dropped and only the front logos kept.

So, I got my geek on this week and fired up search engines. Across the season we switched between back sponsors, all connected to the current owner.

This is the season in game order. It seems the back sponsors came and went pretty quickly mid season.

Question marks are games I can see a white square in images/video but not what it says. Blanks I cant find images/video of...though it seems those last few games didn't have any.

Nice long sleeve version of the 04/05 away shirt. It's also the rarer material. The first versions of the home/away/third had a ticker material. Then they changed it to the softer version. Often seen on players shirts, its much more comfortable.

13. Unlucky for some. Coming off injured in the home debut of his second spell with the club, this away match shirt never made it to a pitch.

Promotion and 125th anniversary. This kit was hit and miss across the fan base. I think its a true representation of the original colours and at the time not a colour the Nike template.

Are the clubs coming up as strong as Wrexham or Birmingham? Will the extra play off sports give more chance of going up? Will the owners get some big budget signings...Who knows, but when we do get promoted can we get celebratory sleeve patches again please 🤞
