The past is already gone. It cannot touch you, hurt you, or change you anymore. The future has not arrived. It has no form, no certainty, no power of its own. Yet the mind keeps traveling back and forth between these two illusions and calls it suffering.

Memory replays what was.
Imagination invents what might be.
And the present moment is left unattended.

This is how pain turns into prolonged suffering.

In Buddhism, this is a central insight: suffering does not come from life itself, but from the mind’s attachment to thoughts. When you relive the past, you reopen old wounds. When you worry about the future, you create pain that has not yet happened.

The body is here.
The breath is here.
Life is happening now.

Peace begins the moment you return to the present. Not by forcing thoughts away, but by gently seeing them for what they are — memories and projections, not reality.

You don’t need to fix yesterday.
You don’t need to control tomorrow.
You only need to be here, now.

Freedom is not found by changing your past or predicting your future.
It is found by waking up to the present moment — the only place where life actually exists.

Did you know that simply raising your legs against the wall for five minutes a day can have powerful effects on your body and mind? This simple yoga pose, often called “Legs Up the Wall” or Viparita Karani, helps reduce stress, improve blood flow, and ease headaches. It’s also great for relieving tired legs, boosting digestion, and supporting lymphatic drainage. Perfect for unwinding after a long day or grounding your body before bed. Sometimes the smallest daily habits bring the biggest health benefits—just breathe, relax, and let gravity do the work.

One of the most difficult lessons life teaches us is this: you cannot always count on others to respect your feelings, even if you respect theirs.
Being kind, genuine, or a good person does not guarantee that others will treat you with the same heart. And that is not your failure — it is simply the reality of human nature.

✨ The only true control you ever have is over yourself — your choices, your behavior, your energy. You cannot force people to see your worth, to value your honesty, or to meet you with the same love you give. But you can decide who you allow into your space, and how much of yourself you choose to share.

⚖️ At the end of the day, your power lies in this simple choice:
– Accept people for who they are, without expectation.
– Or walk away in peace, without resentment.

Do not waste your soul trying to change people who are not ready to grow. Instead, use your energy to keep shaping yourself into the person you want to be — compassionate, strong, and at peace.

🌸 Remember: You are responsible for the energy you bring into the world, not for the way others choose to handle it. Protect your peace, and you will protect your happiness.

Looking forward to seeing you all next Tuesday for the start of yoga after the summer break.

So true

So true

We waste so much energy trapped in two prisons:
🔹 Yesterday — where regrets, mistakes, and old wounds replay endlessly. But no matter how much you revisit it, the past cannot be changed. You can only take its lessons and walk forward.
🔹 Tomorrow — where fear, anxiety, and endless “what ifs” live. But tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet, and it may not arrive at all. Why carry the weight of a day that doesn’t even exist?

✨ That leaves us with Today — the most powerful day of your life.

Today is when you can pick up the phone and say “I love you.”

Today is when you can forgive, heal, or simply take one step toward your dreams.

Today is when you can choose peace over conflict, gratitude over complaint, courage over hesitation.

💡 The truth is, life is not lived in memories of the past or fantasies of the future. Life is lived in the heartbeat of the present.
Every smile, every word of kindness, every act of love — they all happen now.

👉 So, Love deeply today, before time steals the chance.
👉 Believe in yourself today, because waiting for “someday” keeps you stuck forever.
👉 Do what matters today, even if it’s small, because little steps build great journeys.
👉 And above all, Live — because life is not promised, it is only borrowed moment by moment.

🌸 Don’t postpone joy. Don’t delay peace. Don’t wait for a better day to live better.
This moment is the gift. This moment is your life.
