Just to reiterate that no one to one coaching is permitted by both The FA & DCMS/Gov following Monday 4th January’s announcement. We’re incredibly frustrated to learn that a number of outfield & goalkeeping ‘providers’ are continuing to offer this service for under 18’s.

Following conversations directly with Hampshire FA, The FA & NYA, we’ve been assured those found breaking the current conditions will be subject to county FA, National FA, NYA, NSPCC and police investigation.

FA safeguarding measures require two DBS qualified coaches where a parent/guardian is not present. Additionally those who only operate with one member of staff cannot deliver with a parent/guardian present as this also breaches the measures laid out by Government regarding the number of individuals from house holds meeting.

In the mean time please feel free to get in touch if you’re seeking for some remote goalkeeper support. We can point you in the right direction of online sessions provided by other fantastic providers. Unfortunately we’re still not in a position to offer new bookings due to work commitments when we do return. Hi all,

So we are now cleared to return to 1:2:1 coaching from The FA. We’re going to spend the next seven days (minimum) looking at what this means to us at OTLGK and attempting to make our planned delivery model water tight.

As much as we’re desperate to return, we’re very mindful of the new relaxed restrictions and would like to see the next few days of results to help make an informative decision.

We’ll look to update you all before Friday 5th June.

Hi all,

You may have seen the government have given the okay for 1:2:1 coaching to return as of 1st June.

We personally will be awaiting for The FA update, which they have confirmed is imminent. OTLGK will be sharing our practice on how we will be running our sessions to ensure safety to our young GK’s and ourselves. For those not comfortable to return as of yet, we have no problem with that.

Unfortunately we’ve made the decision not to run any small groups as of yet (unless from the same household) due to capacity from ourselves.

Morning all,

It appears a return to football isn’t too far off!

However, as it currently stands we won’t be back delivering until we have received the update from The FA/Hampshire FA.

We’re appalled to have learnt of a number of local individuals/‘organisations’ that have been delivering sessions despite The FA’s suspension of all football for U18’s.

We will update you all accordingly once we have heard from The FA/Hampshire FA.

• THE FA | IMPORTANT COVID 19 DIRECTIVE •

Latest update from Hampshire FA & The FA.

• No 1-2-1 with U18 players permitted.
• Over 18's 1-2-1 is allowed.

As previously mentioned, OTLGK will not return until further notice from The FA.

The FA has today issued guidance to all grassroots football and informal football activity outside the professional game

Morning all,

We hope you're all safe and well. Following on from the latest statement provided by the government please see the latest update from OTLGK.

'Firstly we hope you and your families are safe and well during this difficult time. It's been fantastic to see so much coaching content available from various goalkeeper programmes across the country.

Following Sunday's announcement, OTLGK stance has not changed. We are unable to carry out 1:1 goalkeeping sessions as it stands. Firstly, our insurance is likely temporarily void as it stands. We're also yet to receive any guidance at all on how & when to apply any first aid treatment under the current guidance notes. Additionally, returning to 1:1's will also increase the number of people we come into contact with, increasing the risk of infection.

Whilst we're desperately missing the sessions, everyone's safety is paramount. Please let me make our stance very clear, we strongly advise against any 1:1 or group coaching until an update from the Gov and national/county FA's.

We will be in touch this week with our existing 1:1's later in the week and hopefully have an update in the coming weeks'
