This is the University of Portsmouth Surf Society. You'll want to keep an eye on this group as all info on upcoming events, socials and trips will pop up here. Incase you don't know ANYTHING about surf... read below! WHAT DO WE DO? Roughly once a month we go for a weekend trip down to the West Coast

to hit the surf. Surfing is a four season sport, so rain or shine we’ll be there. We have two days of surfing and two nights of partying so not enjoying yourself is impossible. More than half our new members have never even seen a wave before, so if you think you’re going to embarrass yourself, then you’d be right but at least you’re not the only one! We offer free surf lessons on our first two trips. After that anyone
in the club can help you improve. NO BOARD, NO WETSUIT... NO WORRIES
We have our own boards and wetsuits for you to use for
a small price, or you can hire for a discount from hire
shops. If you want to go on your own little excursion, you
can use it for FREE. NIGHTS OUT
Every week or two you are welcome to join us on our
socials headed up by Isabo. From chill outs to dress-ups and games, we involve all and at no length are you forced to do anything. If you have any questions ask any of the committee, post on the wall or email us at [email protected]
