NUTRITION TIP - 01..
The first installment of our nutrition tips series is a biggie. CALORIES! They matter. Whether you like it or not they will be making the biggest impact on whether you lose weight or not. FACT!..
Whether you subscribe to a healthy diet or are more relaxed with your superfoods, whatever you put in your mouth has a calorie cost. Manuka honey, alfalfa shoots or a big mac, they all have a calorie cost attached to them so dont be fooled into thinking that just because you eat healthily you wont put on weight. If you are eating your body weight in goji berries you are going to be stacking on the pounds...
That being said a balanced healthy diet may make it more likely that the calorie cost of each plate of food will be lower, leading to an increased likelihood that you will lose weight...
I love counting calories as a method of calorie control but its not for everyone. It can be tedious and boring so we need to look for other ways of ensuring we dont od on the rice cakes...
Simple methods such as reducing portion sizes or using palm and fist size portions can be a good way of keeping your daily and weekly calorie intake in check...

Try this complex in your training this week. Great for improving overhead strength, shoulder mobility and posterior chain strength...
