On Thursday both our Juniors and Ladies teams had home matches.

Our Ladies put in a strong effort against the Navy ladies team winning 12-8.

While our Juniors team fought hard but unfortunately lost to a strong Churchers team 18-10

Well done to everyone who played and a big congratulations to our junior girls who played in both their Junior match and the Ladies match!

This weekend two of Portsmouth City Waterpolo's juniors Players won Bronze at the British Waterpolo U14s Girls Inter Regional Championships at Walsall Gala Baths.

Lara Pitcher and Lilly May Jasper represented the South East of England, playing against the best U14 girls in the country.

The team came second in the group stage with wins against the North East and West Midlands and a loss against a strong North West team. Having lost their semi final 5-7 against London, they put in an excellent performance winning the bronze medal in a thrilling game against the South West , which they won 16-15 with a goal in the last 2 seconds.

A third Portsmouth player, Elena Yuksel was selected as a non-travelling reserve for the team, and all three girls have benefited from the experience of training and playing at such a high level .
Thanks to coaches Lauren and Bruce and Team Manager Jen for leading the team.

🤽‍♂️ Season Opener for Our Senior Men’s Team🤽‍♂️

Our Senior Men’s team began their season with a strong and competitive performance against Bournemouth.

Portsmouth City Water Polo were proud to host for their opening fixture of the Senior Men’s Hampshire League.

Thank you to all players, officials, and supporters who made the evening a success. We’re looking forward to building on this momentum throughout the league!
