Myself and my husband have both suffered horrendously with Sciatica in the past and these stretches have helped massively (along with super painkillers and lots of rest)
Sciatica tends not to be a sports therapy treatable condition but we are always happy to help 😋

Because of its vicinity to the piriformis muscle, constriction or swelling of the muscle can often lead to irritation of the sciatic nerve and pain.

What a difference! If there was ever an advert for kepping active, this is it. The study was conducted in 2011 and shows the difference in muscle mass between acgive and sedentary individuals.

I've posted this previously but it is such an important thing to know about and be aware of, especially with all the talk about removing full contact rugby from the school curriculum. Concussion is not fun and it ain't pretty, but being aware of the signs can make a massive difference to recovery.
