This is a free community gathering for all new and expectant parents. Yoga means union, and this space is an open, honest and supportive place where we can be with each other on this journey.

Whether you want to hear or share birth stories, talk about the realities of normal newborn behaviour, get a good book recommendation, have a cry somewhere other than the bathroom, or just enjoy a coffee in company - we've got you! ♥️

I adore teaching these classes - the women and birthing people that come are just such excellent humans who bring all different viewpoints and life experience and it's just the best learning opportunity for everyone in the room.

I love seeing people grow their confidence in themselves as they approach their birth.

I love seeing them come back to postnatal yoga, already feeling they can rock up as they are, not how they might feel others expect them to be.

I love knowing that people feel seen and valued for who they are, not just a vessel for the baby they are growing or caring for.

If you think that sounds like the sort of space you want to be in, come along for a trial. It's not for everyone, and that's okay too!

Have you been along to a baby class, feeling totally exhausted or in need of real connection, only to be met with sensory overload and no-one even asking your name? Let alone a meaningful 'how are you really doing?'.

That used to make me feel horribly lonely, and it was an awesome group of mum's inviting me for coffee that saved me. The class was the reason to get out of the house and for us to all be in the same place at the same time, but it was the coffee afterwards that got us chatting about the nitty gritty of parenting and building real friendship.

I see the parents in my classes sharing honestly and supporting each other and it feels so powerful. These meet ups allow that to grow deeper, take friendships outside the class and give more opportunity for connection.

Even if you've never been along to a class, you are always welcome. If you have any hesitation about coming along, drop me a message and we can figure it out together.

Happy International Day of the Midwife.

To all the midwives providing safe, respectful, person-centred maternity care. Empowering women and birthing people in their journeys as they cross the threshold. You make all the difference.

To all the midwives walking alongside women and birthing people.

To all midwives advocating for bodily autonomy and informed choice.

To all the midwives working unsafe hours and in understaffed teams.

To all the midwives no longer practicing.

To all the student midwives giving everything you can, when you may or may not have a job at the end of your training.

We see you. We stand with you. Thank you.

Follow and to stay up to date with the campaign to improve working conditions for midwives.
