As the weather is getting nicer, we are moving our Saturday sessions to our outdoor training area, with the sound system from our Recovery Area - The Rustic Retreat taking care of the tunes! 🎶🎵📻

This is the only weekly session free to non members - If you would like to be added on, just drop us a DM!

Cable machines vs Dumbbells 👇

Both are effective. Both build strength. The best results usually come from using a mix of both. 💪

• Great for building balance & coordination
• Engage more stabilising muscles
• Mimic natural movement patterns
• Perfect for functional strength

⚙️ Cable Machines
• Provide constant tension throughout the movement
• More controlled & beginner-friendly
• Easier to isolate specific muscles
• Great for learning technique safely

The truth? It’s not about choosing one over the other — they complement each other.

Proud to be inspiring the next generation of the fitness industry 💪

Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve welcomed several Year 10 students to Jett’s Gym Portsmouth as part of their work experience placement.

This experience has given them an insight into the world of fitness, what it’s like to work in a gym environment, and the positive impact the industry can have on people’s lives every single day.

At Jetts, we’re passionate about creating an environment that motivates and inspires young people who have a genuine interest in health, fitness, and helping others become their best selves. Seeing their enthusiasm and passion for the industry has been brilliant to watch.
