🥊🏆 ARTFUL DODGERS BOXING ACADEMY – BBC MAKE A DIFFERENCE AWARDS FINALIST! 🏆🥊

We recently had BBC Radio Solent visit Artful Dodgers Boxing Academy to speak to some of our coaches, boxers, members and people involved with the club after we were selected as a finalist in the BBC Make a Difference Awards.

🎙️ We’re really proud to share some of the interviews with you.

Listening to everyone talk about what Artful Dodgers means to them, and the difference the club has made in their lives, is something we’re incredibly proud of.

For us, Artful Dodgers has always been about much more than boxing.

It’s about giving people somewhere to belong.
It’s about confidence, discipline and self-belief.
It’s about supporting young people and adults through difficult times.
It’s about friendships, opportunities and bringing our community together.

🥊 Boxing is what brings us through the door – but the people are what make the club.

A massive thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey: our boxers, parents, coaches, volunteers, sponsors, supporters and the wider Portsmouth community.

And thank you to BBC Radio Solent for coming down, listening to our stories and giving our members the opportunity to explain in their own words what this club means to them.

Whatever happens in the final, being recognised for the difference our club is making in the community is something we can all be extremely proud of.
