These posts show an example of the kind of foods I consume on a daily basis to keep my Protein intake high each day.

But why is it Important to eat enough Protein ?

Well Protein is essential , you may have heard Protein consumption being spoke about simply as food for your muscles, but protein plays a much bigger role then that every single cell in out body contains protein , it play roles in maintaining your mood,liver function,immunity,kidney health,hormone balance and adrenal function.
There seems to be a thought that Protein makes us bulky,and heavy but in fact protein can aid fat burning and help with weight loss alongside a healthy diet , as you lose weight your body may lose both fat and muscle so having a good level of protein coming from your diet helps fat burning while preserving your lean muscle mass.

Fancied something I would enjoy on a Friday if out for a meal with friends and family so chicken Burger with mexcana chedder, sweet potato fries , and coleslaw , and the best bit although being a higher calorie meal it still fitted in my personal macros , and the most important thing is it made me happy ๐Ÿ˜

8.7 mg a day men over 18
14.8 mg a day women aged 19-50
8.7mg a day for women over 50
You should be able to get all the Iron you need from your daily diet
however women who lose a lot of blood during thier monthly period are at higher risk of iron deficiency anaemia and may need to take iron supplements
speak to a GP for more advice.

Anaemia is a deficiency caused by a lack of iron in your system and is one of the most common deficiencies around with about 25% of the worlds population suffering from it
, low iron can often be caused because of blood loss or pregnancy and can be treated with iron tablets prescribed by a GP and/or by eating iron-rich foods.
symptoms can include - Tirdness and lack of energy, Shortness or breath, noticable heartbeats (palpitations) , Pale Skin

Less common symptoms of iron deficiency anaemia (that are not usually connected to pregnancy)
headaches
hearing ringing, buzzing or hissing noises inside your head (tinnitus)
food tasting strange
feeling itchy
a sore tongue
hair loss โ€“ you notice more hair coming out when brushing or washing it
wanting to eat non-food items, such as paper or ice (pica)
finding it hard to swallow (dysphagia)
painful open sores (ulcers) in the corners of your mouth
spoon-shaped nails
restless legs syndrom

If your answer to this is 5 or 6 times a week thats great but I want you to ask yourself that question again but this time ask yourself how many times per week do I see myself training each week for the rest of my LIFE ? ? ๐Ÿ’ช

Right now like me you are probably full of motivation and excitement ready to return to the gym and start your fitness journey for the first time or carry on from where you left off which is fantastic , but a tip I would give you is make the amount of days per week realistic and something you can do forever and not just in the short term, you would be alot better off aiming for 2 times per week and keeping it up for a lifetime, then trying to get in 5/6 sessions per week burning yourself out end up turning the gym into something you despise this will eventually lead to you quiting the gym.

Set yourself up for a lifetime of fitness sucess not a 1 month flash in the pan.

This is where my love of strength training really began one day I bought this book from probably a boot sale and I'm really glad I did , as a kid I remember being in my room or the garden with my little weights doing the exercises in the book trying to get as big as Arnie I'm still not quite there ๐Ÿ˜‚ but I sure loved this book ๐Ÿ“š ๐Ÿ’ช
