Aged 16–24 and ready for something different?

Tomorrow we’re kicking off our first King’s Trust Taster Day at Gym01.

If you’re aged 16–24, currently not in education or employment, and looking for something new, this could be a great opportunity to get involved.

Come and experience fitness, boxing and martial arts, meet the Gym01 and King’s Trust teams, build confidence, learn new skills and find out about opportunities in fitness, leisure and hospitality.

It’s the first step into our Get Started with Boxing programme, with a full Activities Week taking place at Gym01 next week.

No experience needed. No pressure. Just come down, have a go and see where it could take you.

On Wednesday 16 September, we’re giving every non-member a free day pass worth £15.

Your pass includes access to our fully equipped gym and any beginner martial arts session taking place that day. No previous experience is needed, so it’s the perfect opportunity to try something new.

A big congratulations to our Lead Team Leader, Daryl! 👏💛

Today, Daryl successfully passed his evaluation for Safeguarding Supervision Training at Portsmouth’s prestigious Guildhall.

The training has further developed his knowledge and skills around safeguarding, supervision and best practice — helping us continue to strengthen the standards we have in place to protect and support both our members and our team.

Safeguarding is something we take seriously at Gym 01, and continuing to invest in the development of our leadership team is an important part of making sure we keep improving.
