Another catch report: in from sponsored angler Phil Holt ... phil recently fished festival fishery on an annual social, so with phil drawing swim 10. When he turned up in the swim he noticed needing bubbles mid water out in front of him so was quite happy with the swim he'd picked. With very little signs of feeding fish on the far Reed line phil opted to fish all 3 rods mid water. Previous trips to the lake with super results and success his Bait of choice and tactics were always going to be the same , as its always performed and produced at Festivals. so using small bags of satan micro pellet, with a pink grafter wafter over a bed of grafter boilie has always done me well and some huge successes on this lake they absolutely love vader baits in here💪. Over the 48 hours I managed to trip up 3 fish, biggest going 17lb.which are Unusually small captures for Festival. But you cant choose the size of fish you catch and they were welcome all the same... bait tactics and watercraft all coming into play on this session and really looking forward to getting back there fishingleads.uk

So our sponsored angler Phil Holt managed to sneak out last sunday for a quick day session on a local water- Goodiford mill. After turning up and the lake and it being full, he opted for a corner swim situation looked the best out of the remaining swims ....After spotting some feeding fish phil went armed with pink Grafter wafters over a bed of satan boilie. His day session produced 3 fish to 20.8lb, and these two being the best of the 3 captures.. welldone top gun 🔫 🎣🎣🍻 fishingleads.uk

Vader Baits Team Member Dave fished a 48 hour on a lake booking social at the fantastic Festival fishery. After only 20 mins of getting the first rod out it ripped off and he had this stunning 25lb 4 oz mirror. Micro grafter pellet in a pva bag with a yellow grafter wafter over a scattering of grafter boilie did the trick. It was the only fish of the session, but what a lovely Carp! 🐠

Vader Baits Team Member Stephen delivered the goods on his outings to Coking Farms Meadow Lake, with the highlights being this impressive 42lb 10oz Mirror, which was also a PB. Along with these 30s it's fair to say he's cracked the code using our Crabalicious boiles and using a simple hair rig with a Crabalicious hard ho**er and pink topper - as a bonus he also had a 26lb during the session.

Another great report sent in from our ever consistent team member Dave, this time from a 48 hour session at Harriers which resulted in 5 fish, a brace of twenty pound commons, two upper doubles and a stunning low double. Yellow wafter in a pva bag was the chosen method. Three fish came of baited spots but on the last morning he decided to chase the fish, looking out for shows and bubbling he put pva bags on their heads! This resulted in 3 runs with 2 fish landed. A great trip topped of with his lad catching his new PB!

Vader Baits Team Member Andrew decided to do a 36 hour session on our syndicate lake last Friday night until Sunday morning and sent us in this catch report:

"Got there about 7pm Friday set up in swim 1 and proceeded to get my rods out
Decided to have one short to the corner and one just straight out mid water where I had seen movement whilst setting up my bivvy
Once set up I thought I would leave them out until morning unless I was lucky enough to have a fish (I was happy with the positions of the rods and didn’t want to cause too much commotion).
About 9.30 the right hand rods screamed into life and I was lucky thought to have this 15lb 11oz mirror
I then put the rods back out in the same spot
I had 4 small catfish within a couple of hours between 10.30 pm Friday until midnight all about 5/6lb
Then at 2am on Saturday morning I had another fish from the same spot in the corner to the right pretty close in this time the fish weighed 15lb 8oz
I was woken again at 5.30am saturday
But was unfortunately snapped up on a snag
The rest of Saturday was pretty uneventful except for a small catfish of about 5/6lb about 6pm
We watched the football on the I pad and saw England win which was a great achievement and went straight to bed after as I was leaving early Sunday morning
But at 2,15 am Sunday morning I was woken (not long after I had fallen asleep excited about the football result)
By a catfish of about 18lb
All of the fish were caught on the blackfudge 18mm boilies with a few free offerings scattered about with a catapult
As the weather was so warm I was happy just to have a couple of carp on the bank"

Vader Baits Team Member Dave fished a 48hr session at Harriers and landed 4 Carp. A small 5lb mirror and 3 better fish. A scaly 19lb stunner. A long 21lb 8 common and a lovely 23lb 4 mirror. All fell to Grafter boilie with either a pink wafter in a pva bag with Grafter micro pellet, or a 12mm yellow pop up fished on a Ronnie set up along with a splash of H**p and maize. A great session and as always a lovely place to spend a couple of days.

With my syndicate lake being closed for spawning I decided to take a short trip to Coking Farm Oak lake. After on 2 hours of the rods being in I caught my first fish using a Combimulti Rig with a pink SaTaN wafter over a bed of whole, chopped and crushed SaTaN and Le Nutz Boilies. With a sluggish short fight I netted a fish that I knew from first sight it could break my PB. It did weighing in at 35lbs 4 oz it smashed my PB by 10lbs and being my first ever 30. Next fish came very early the next morning as the sun was rising. A great looking common graced my net falling to a Crabalisious match to hatch Wafter over the same bed of boiles. This fish also was a nice size coming in at 29lbs 4oz breaking my common PB. All went quiet for the rest of the trip with odd knock I left very happy with 2 new PB’s.awesome mate welldone.. fishingleads.uk

48 hrs session on the syndicate lake. 3 carp caught in this session first was the biggest at 17lbs caught on a yellow SaTaN wafter, second fish was a 12lb 8 oz caught with a SaTaN boilie with a yellow topper. The third was a 13 lb 8 oz caught on a Pink SaTaN water. All fish were caught over a bed of crushed and chopped SaTaN, Crabalisious and Le Nutz boilies. In the session I also caught 2 Catfish to around 4 lbs and a small pike.great stuff mate welldone fishingleads.uk
