Vader Baits Team Member Carl sent us in this catch report from a mid week 48hr session last week which resulted in a lovely 25lb 8oz Mirror on the first evening, followed by another at 25lb 6oz the following evening.

Both fell to flouro spinner rigs with the triple orange topperz as hook baits and PVA mesh bags full of le nutz boilie crumb and micro pellet.

Vader Baits Team Member Nathan sent us in these beauties from two recent sessions on our Syndicate Lake 🎣

He had 2 out on the first session weighing in a 21lb and 18lb 2oz, both caught on a snowman setup consisting of a 14mm lenutz boilie topped with a 12mm white lenutz pop up in a solid pva bag of lentuz micro pellet, boilie crumb and lenutz glug with a scattering of lenutz boilies over the top.

On the second session utilising the same tactics he had a lovely 17lb Mirror falling to the same tactics.

Team Member Liam fished a 48 hour session on our Vader Baits syndicate lake.
Starting quickly with a bite 2 hours in, resulting in a 6lb 8oz carp using a SaTaN yellow wafter over a bed of catapulted SaTaN and Tutti boilies.
The 2nd fish came about 4 hours later, a great looking linear carp weighing in at 24lbs caught again on yellow SaTaN wafter.
Just a few hours later he had his 3rd of the session, a 22lb Mirror caught on the same yellow SaTaN wafter. All went quiet for 30hrs and with a peg move a few hours before packing up he landed his last fish a 13lb 15oz carp again using the ever consistent yellow SaTaN wafter

It was Really hard going with comfortable temperatures throughout the daytime but dropping sharply from the early evening amd throughout the night with a consistently strong cold wind .. after speaking to the bailiff and him mentioning that only 1 fish had come out in 3 weeks i felt up against it .. but sticking to my guns and using an 18mm crabalicious boilie from the vaderbaits range on the business end and a good helping of offerings over the top
I manged to get a new pb of 31.6lb .which i now know is known as goliath...
with the session being so quiet i resorted to putting a 14mm le nutz wafter over a spot id previously pre baited and was rewarded with a cracking 19lb beauty to end the session ..

“I started my spring campaign on a pretty little estate lake on my syndicate called rookesbury pond, it didn’t take long to locate some fish on the pond so i didn’t hang about as I knew with the rain falling and dark sky the last of the light would soon be running out fast! I set up a helicopter rig set up with a rubber bead set at 2ft allowing the weight to sink in the deep silt and my rig able to slide up and stay clear of the deep silt, I loaded up my baiting pole with a few grafter boilies and a little hand full of grafter pellets, hook bait was a washed out pink grafter dumbbell 14mm, I did this process twice with both rods placing them out with the stealthy baiting pole at the same distance about 3 rod lengths apart, to where I spotted fish showing, at 9:30ish I had a nice steady take on my left rod and with a good battle under head torch this beautiful 30lbs mirror graced my net!“

A few nights at Stafford Moor Fishery. Tough going with the bulk of the fish tucked out of reach behind one of the islands. First session using Vader baits and opted for the Crabalicious. First fish at just over 25lb came within 1 hour of setting up after dropping a handful of boilie fished with a fluro yellow crab wafter on a showing fish. Rod dispatched to the same spot using the same tactics and that went at around midnight resulting in another mirror of similar size . After having to change spots after another angler moved to the previously vacant swim, a large load of Crabalicious was put on the spot, again with the fluro yellow wafter as hookbait. Just before 7am the following morning the rod was away with a slightly better mirror at just over 26lb. Very pleased with the bait and the fluro wafters definitely helping to pick off the fish that did decide to leave their safe space fishingleads.uk

Vader Baits Team Member Liam recently fished our syndicate lake out of peg 14. On the second morning his right hand rod in the middle of the lake screamed off, and he landed this lovely 17lb 2oz Mirror. This one was caught on a SaTaN boilie snowman on a spinner rig.

Lee Sanger fished a local runs water for the day on Sunday. He decided to fish one rod in the margins either side of the swim. Through out the day he managed 9 carp to 17lb.and the Tactics used were a mix of single trimmed down yellow and orange crabalicious wafters with a small handful of crabelicious boilie crumb thrown over the top every 20 minutes or so... great angling lee well done mate 👌👌

Lee Sanger had a day session at Jimmy's lake orchard lakes on Saturday. On what was proving to be a tricky day his persistence eventually paid off. After trying multiple methods and spots throughout the day with no joy at around 4pm the left rod finally went off and I was rewarded with a 15lb common. I recast the same bait to the same spot and with in 5 minutes was rewarded with another fish. Although the second was much smaller it was a welcome sight on the bank after a long, tricky day on the bank. Single pink le nutz wafter in open water between 2 islands doing the damage

Vader Baits Team Member David fished a cold 48 hours on our Syndicate Lake. A cold easterly and real high pressure didn’t bode (well coupled with temperatures hovering around zero) so catching was going to be tricky. Fishing at range on solid bags grafter boilie and pink grafter wafters he managed to snare 4 fish all just under the 20lb mark. Here’s to 2026 and tight lines to everyone!
