I have picked up another track, this bring us up to 2 analogue tracks and 1 digital track! should be enough to start.

I have a few cars and now 2 bikes that we can race and Ebay seems to have lots of cheap scalextrics cars at the moment, if you are looking to buy a car let me know and I can get a track to you to test and practise!

I'm interested in getting together (when we are able to) and do some socially distanced scalextric racing! Ben Farmer got a load of track a while ago and from this I have got working 2 tracks, 1 analogue and 1 digital.

There is a lot more old style track if anyone wants to play with it!

While we are still unable to meet if you are interested it might be good to look for cars. I have a couple but it would be great if people want to pick their own cars. If you need help then put a message on here and we can try and learn together. I have a some spare brushes and soldering iron so am happy to help repair any old cars.

There are a lot of cars on eBay and on the scalextric website you can buy cars for £20 and up. I use Pendle Slot Racing to get spare parts.

Digital cars are more expensive or older cars can be upgraded if you want to later but depending on the car this can be easy or difficult. We will try and always run both types so everyone can be involved and Digital cars can run on old tracks so everyone will always be able to race everyone.
