New Wrestling Class at Portishead Grappling School

We’re pleased to be introducing a new Wrestling class at PGS, led by Troy.

Troy brings strong wrestling experience and a passion for helping others develop their grappling. Whether you’re a BJJ practitioner looking to improve your takedowns, a judoka wanting to expand your skillset, or completely new to wrestling, this class will provide a welcoming environment to learn and improve.

It was grading week at PGS for the Minis (ages 4-7)

Well done to all the minis on their gradings this week!!

Minis is a combination of both Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is a great entry to the world of grappling martial arts.

We have sessions every single day full all age groups.

A huge well done to everyone who took part in yesterdays grading!

Firstly, a massive congratulations to Aston, James, and Dan on earning their Purple Belts, and to Juicy George on receiving his Blue Belt. These promotions are thoroughly deserved and reflect the hard work, consistency, and dedication.

I’d also like to say well done to everyone who received tags today. Every single one of them has been earned, and you should all be proud of your progress.

I know that at the last grading nobody received a belt, and I’m pretty sure we all hated Rob and Wayne! But that’s exactly why today felt so special. How genuinely happy everyone was for each other showed just how much these achievements meant.

Thank you to everyone who continues to train, support one another, and help make this club such a great place to be.
