Come and Support Portishead Youth Centre’s 60th Anniversary Celebration!

We will be performing tomorrow at the Portishead Youth Centre as they celebrate their 60th anniversary.

For many years, the Youth Centre has provided a wide range of events, activities, and workshops that have benefited the local community. To mark this special milestone, there will be a full day of activities and entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

✨ Exciting Opportunity for GCSE Dance Students ✨

I am considering opening a new dance class in September specifically designed for GCSE Dance students who would like to develop their technique, improve their performance skills, and receive additional support with their coursework and practical assessments.

A little about me:

• BA (Hons) Degree in Contemporary Dance
• Master’s Degree in Choreography
• Professional dance experience across Europe
• Worked with some of Europe’s most prestigious choreographers and dance companies

This class would provide a supportive environment where students can strengthen their technical skills, build confidence, explore choreography, and gain valuable guidance to help them succeed in their GCSE Dance studies.

These lovely dance students have shown me that even when we train just once a week, amazing things can happen. We choose to experience dance in a relaxed environment, where there’s no room for stress or worries, only joy, passion, and a love for dancing.

And look at you! At your very first carnival, you brought home a Youth Organisation Trophy. That achievement is all yours your hard work, effort, energy, dedication, and enthusiasm made it happen.

I couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of you. Keep believing in yourselves, keep enjoying the journey, and keep dancing from the heart. 🍀🌻❤️

We received so many lovely messages about our dance group, and we want to say a huge thank you! 🍀🌻❤️

So many people loved our performance and all the decorations. What you probably don’t know is that before going to university to study dance, I attended art school. Creativity has always been a huge part of who I am, and I love being able to combine my artistic skills with dance.

Creating props from scratch allows me to bring ideas to life and give my students an unforgettable experience. The joy on their faces when they see what I’ve made for them is absolutely priceless. ✨

Here’s a little look at my carnival journey and the work that went into making it all happen. From the first ideas and sketches to the finished creations, every detail was made with love and passion.

My carnival team is ready, and I couldn’t be prouder of every single one of you.

The joy, energy, passion, and smiles you bring to every performance are the greatest gift a teacher could ever receive.

Thank you for all your hard work, dedication, and for filling every rehearsal and performance with so much happiness. Now it’s time to go out there, enjoy every moment, and show everyone what an amazing team you are!
