The gym was never the hard bit. It’s everything that comes before it. 😮‍💨

Coming off the jab doesn’t have to mean piling it all back on.

A client of mine lost a stone on the skinny jab — then felt so rough they came off it, terrified it’d all come back. It didn’t.

Because we built the bit the jab can’t give you: sorting the nutrition, rebuilding the eating habits, a bit of lifting to hold onto muscle, protein at every meal, and a few simple daily habits that actually stick.

They’re still losing. Slowly, properly, and on their own terms. No jab needed.

The jab can give you a wee boost. You keep it off. That’s the bit I do best.

The skinny jabs aren’t the problem. Coming off them is.

They work — they’re a tool, same as anything else. But here’s the bit nobody tells you: lose weight that fast and you lose muscle along with the fat. And muscle is the very thing that keeps the weight off.

So when you come off the jab, your appetite comes roaring back — and so do all your old habits and bad food choices. Less muscle, same habits, and that weight piles straight back on. A lot of people end up with more fat than they started with, looking worse than the day they began.

I’m not here to slag anyone for taking them. If they’re helping you — brilliant. But if you want to keep it off for good, you’ve got to build the engine underneath it: a bit of muscle, a few simple habits, food you can actually live with.

It’s not a number on the scale. It’s not a six-pack.

Skinny jabs are everywhere now. Ozempic, Mounjaro, Wegovy — more and more folk are on them every week.

And listen — no judgement here. The jab’s a brilliant tool. It quiets your appetite so you eat less. But a tool isn’t a system. It won’t train you, it won’t build you a single ounce of muscle, and it won’t fix bad eating habits. That part’s still on you.

Do nothing else and up to 40% of what you lose can be muscle — not fat. Then most folk come off it, and two-thirds piles back on within a year. You end up worse than you started.

The ones who keep the results? They did the work alongside it. Protein first, every meal. Lifted 2–3x a week. Ate by the clock, not by hunger. Built the habits while the appetite was quiet.

The jab shrinks the car. You’ve still got to build the engine. 💪
