Portadown Ladies Hockey Club would like to place on record their thanks to 1st XI Coach David Sinnamon and 1st XI Manager Barry Galbraith who have decided to step away from their roles.

​David and Barry have led the 1st XI through our most successful years in recent memory, taking the team to the highest levels in a generation. Whilst the team success was achieved on the pitch, it is a direct reflection of their invaluable guidance, hard work and dedication off the pitch. They leave behind a lasting legacy, a fantastic foundation for the future, and so many incredible memories.

​We would like to sincerely thank both David and Barry for the immense time, effort, and passion they have poured into PLHC. We wish them the absolute best in their next chapters. The club will now begin a process to identify the 1st XI management team for September.

Congratulations to all our girls who played for Ulster U23s, U18s or the U16s against Scotland this weekend.

Special mention to our girls who got on the scoresheet over the 3 match series- U16s-Hannah, Poppy and Maddie and well done to Alyssa and Lara who scored for the U23s 👏🏻👏🏻 and also to Maisy who was U18 captain for one of the games during the 3 match series ⭐️

A great experience for all of you, both on and off the pitch.

Good luck to all our girls playing for Ulster U16s, U18s and U23s today against Scotland, as well as Heather Wright playing for Ireland O40s at the Home Nations in Southgate.

Special shoutout to 3 of our young stars, Hannah Rodgers, Poppy Hannath and Maddie Wilson, all scoring against Scotland last night in a 4-3 win! ⭐️👏🏻⭐️super work girls, same again today! 🙌❤️🤍

We all had great night at our annual dinner and prize giving last night, along with at Portadown Golf Club.

A brilliant way to end of a great season for both the men’s and ladies’ senior teams.

Many thanks to the Golf Club for hosting us all and special thanks to Ryan, Matthew and the team for a beautiful meal and excellent service as always and to DJ Ivan for keeping us entertained after the meal.

Thanks also to the brilliant Laura for supplying and setting up our fabulous balloons and table settings.
