Congratulations to Will Lee (England) and Kittie Terblanche (South Africa), who after all of your votes have become TWIF male and female outdoor athletes of the year!

They were both presented with their awards at the close of todays competitions!

Thank you both for your contributions to our sport and hopefully you have both inspired the next generation!

🥈 SILVER MEDAL 🥈

Congratulations to our England under 23 mixed 560kg team, who progressed to the semi-finals at the 2026 World Tug of War Championships. After defeating Switzerland in the semi-finals, the team faced home team South Africa for the gold, and after a huge 2 ends, the home nation emerged stronger and England had to settle for silver. Congratulations to all involved - another fantastic effort!
