Area Tet 26’
Before the medals, rosettes and placings, there’s something worth celebrating…
These riders chose to step outside their comfort zone and take on one of the toughest Pony Club competitions there is.
Tetrathlon isn’t just about riding – it takes determination, fitness, resilience and a willingness to give everything across four demanding phases.
From the swim and shoot at Down Leisure Centre, to the lung-busting run around the Hazeldene hills (those hills definitely weren’t getting any smaller! 🥵), before tackling a technical cross-country course, our Iveagh riders gave it absolutely everything.

You don’t have to be an Olympic swimmer or a champion runner. Everyone starts somewhere, and the support within Pony Club is second to none. It’s a fantastic way to build confidence, improve your riding, make lifelong friends and challenge yourself in ways you never imagined.
Many of this year’s competitors were trying new phases, chasing personal bests and proving to themselves what they could achieve. That’s what Tetrathlon is all about!
If you’ve ever watched from the sidelines wondering if you could do it… this is your sign. We’d love to see even more black and white colours flying for Iveagh next season. 🖤🤍
