Join us for 7 weeks (starting 28th April) to train hard and develop your skills and performance 🔝.

Girls will have the opportunity to play at a tournament together. Please note: spaces are limited at each group and this is open to girls who play for any club that want to push themselves to become better players. Girls will mainly play futsal during the sessions.

A new block of Upward is back. All girls welcome!

Another block of Upward Girls Academy is back!
Open to all past, current and new girls. Put in the extra training to work on your speed & agility, strength & conditioning, technical ability, tactical awareness and get plenty of touches during small sided matches. Opportunities to play in Christmas tournaments. Girls from all clubs are welcome to come along.

Well done to a mix of our girls who played in the Summer Cup yesterday! Some really good performances across the pitch and great for the girls to get a taster of 11 aside together.

The girls took part in the The ABP Craigavon Cup . The girls have been training hard over the last few months and got off to a great start winning 6-0 (Mid Ulster), followed by 2-0 win (Loughgall). They then faced a tough match against Blayney Academy, losing 2-0 but got back to winning ways with a 3-1 win in their final group match (Hillsborough).

The girls finished 2nd in their group, seeing them qualify for the Cup competition. They faced a tough Bloomfield side in the Semi final and unfortunately got beat.

Well done to all the girls on a fantastic day of football. Everyone played well and had a good team attitude. Thanks to the girls who guested for us today - some former Upward girls and those who had played futsal.

Winner announced on Tuesday at 9pm.

We are expanding to include a 2016-2018 section at our academy. This age group is open to girls who currently play for any club or don't play at all. Sessions will focus on the fundamentals of soccer, developing various skills, playing small sided matches and developing their speed/agility/strength. Spaces are limited.

Our academy now has over 25 girls from 11 different clubs. This is a great opportunity for girls to gain additional training, play with a variety of other girls and push themselves to develop and progress, and hopefully go back to their clubs as better players on and off the field.

2016-2018 - new group added - limited to 12 spaces
2013-2015 - 1 space left
2009-2012 - 2 spaces left

The girls will be taking part in various tournaments and friendlies over the next few months.
