Congratulations to our Portadown Knights Players of the Year! 👏⛳️

🥇 18 Holes: Ewan Finlayson
🥇 9 Holes (Yellow): Zac Gillespie
🥇 5 Holes (Blue): Wilson McCartney

A special mention to Ewan Finlayson who was also presented with a club medal in honour of his selection for the Ulster U14 Team in the Interprovincial Series earlier this year where he won 3 out of 3 matches helping Ulster to victory overall!

What a fantastic way to bring our 2026 junior summer season to a close! 🎉

A huge well done to all our Portadown Knights, parents and family members who took part in the Parent & Child Sweep.
There was plenty of fun, friendly competition and, of course, some great golf along the way! 👏🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️

Wednesday Summer Competition – 26th August 2026

Another good turnout for our last Wednesday Competition of the summer, with some excellent golf on display from all of our junior members. More handicap cuts incoming!

Well done to everyone who took part. It’s great to see so many juniors enjoying competitive golf and continuing to develop their games.

Join us on Friday 4th September for our Parent & Child Sweep! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🏌️‍♂️

A great opportunity to enjoy 8 holes of golf together, with plenty of fun and some friendly competition along the way! 🙌

Our final Junior Summer Competitions takes place tomorrow 😭 and we’re looking forward to another fantastic days golf with our junior members. ☀️

Their support helps make these events possible and is greatly appreciated by everyone at Portadown Golf Club.
