We don’t always shout loudly enough about what happens behind the doors of AK Academy of Dancing… but sometimes you have to stop, take stock and celebrate what your students have achieved 💛
Following the completion of the 2026 qualifying season, we are incredibly proud to have achieved:
✨ 48 Set Dance Qualifiers
✨ 30 Rock’n’Roll Pairs Qualifiers
✨ 19 Street Solo Qualifiers
✨ 3 Qualifying Teams
All heading to the ISTD DFR National Finals 2026! 🏆
What makes us particularly proud is that so many of these dancers are home grown. They have walked through our doors as little ones, learnt their foundations with us, trained week after week and progressed through the competitive ranks to earn their place at Nationals.
These results aren’t achieved overnight. They come from consistent training, strong foundations, dedicated teachers, supportive families and, most importantly, incredibly hardworking dancers.
Since 1992, AK has been committed to giving dancers opportunities to learn, progress, compete and achieve at the highest level - while remaining part of the AK family.
To every dancer who qualified, every dancer who competed throughout the season, every parent behind them for your support and our incredible teachers for their continuous hard work:
