Dexter Sports FC C.I.C Women & Girls Founded in 1975 to provide an opportunity for youngsters in the Poole area to play football outside of school. Since then, the girls football has thrived.

We offer several opportunities through the age groups and will soon be moving into the women's game.

๐Ÿฅณ โ€‹A massive well done to U12 Ravens girls Emelia and Lily, who swapped their football boots for spikes at the weekend to represent Dorset County against Somerset in Yeovil!

โ€‹The girls put in incredible performances to help the Dorset team claim the overall cup victory! ๐Ÿ†โœจ

The U12 Ravens travelled to Braishfield today for their 4th and final tournament of the season! ๐Ÿฆโ€โฌ›โœจ

โšฝ๏ธ โ€‹Facing some top-tier competition, the girls knew they had to dig deepโ€”especially after two weeks off training and no match play together since July.

They absolutely delivered, putting in an incredible shift to battle all the way to the Cup Semi-Final! ๐Ÿ’ช

๐Ÿ’™โค๏ธ โ€‹Falling short on penalties is always a tough pill to swallow, but these girls showed huge heart and fantastic football all day.

Massive building blocks laid for a brilliant season ahead! ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿฆโ€โฌ›

These girls have only been playing football together for a few months and the progress they are making is absolutely incredible ๐Ÿ‘ With only 4 friendlies under their belts before today, they went out there and absolutely smashed it ๐Ÿฅณ

๐Ÿ”ฅ โ€‹Won 3 games (scoring 6 goals!)
๐Ÿคฉ โ€‹Lost only 2 games (and both by just a narrow 1-0)
๐Ÿ›ก โ€‹Conceded only 3 goals across all 5 matches!

โ€‹Their only losses came against well-established teams that have been playing together for at least a full season ๐Ÿ™Œ

๐Ÿ’™โค๏ธ โ€‹Every single player put in a massive effort and battled so hard today. The future is looking so bright for this team!

๐Ÿ† Runners-Up for the U11 Ravens! ๐Ÿฅˆโšฝ๏ธ

โ€‹This morning, the U11 Ravens travelled down to Warsash for their second tournament of the summer!

โ€‹The girls played amazing throughout the group stage, finishing right at the top of the table ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ”ฅ

โ€‹That brilliant run took them straight into the semi-finals against Portchester. It was a tense, nail-biting game that finished 1-1, meaning it had to be decided by the dreaded penalty shootout! Thanks to two incredible, heroic saves from their keeper, the girls booked their place in the final! ๐Ÿงค๐Ÿšซโšฝ๏ธ

๐Ÿ™Œ โ€‹The final saw them face Hambleโ€”a team they had already beaten in the group stage. Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be this time, and they just edged a 1-0 win on the Ravens.

โ€‹Itโ€™s another tournament where they've reached the final, and for the second time, they've just come up slightly short to finish as proud runners-up ๐Ÿฅˆ
