Under 11’s
What an end to another memorable and fantastic season where the team has grown and developed in so many ways.
For our team, we have reached the end of their ‘Junior rugby’ era as well as sharing the pitch with 4 of our very own Red Roses, who we know are going to continue on their path together to nothing but fantastic and brilliant things…. We wish our strong Rugby Queens nothing but the best and will forever support you from YOUR sidelines!! We can’t wait to see you bloom 🌹

For our boys, we enter Youth Rugby! 🏉 💪🏻 We are confident the lads are ready for their next chapter and are really excited to see them achieve great things! Watch this space..! 💙💛

For now, it’s all about celebrating Our Team by taking a look back at their Junior years from joining us at Poole RFC, to those wildly wet and windy Sunday mornings, 3 spectacular rugby tours and becoming a team we could not be prouder of!
It’s not just about the players, we have built our own Rugby Family - without you guys we wouldn’t be the success we are today!
Thank You Team! 👊🏻

Last session of the season.

My last session as a Poole Juniors coach.

A great day away at swans, a lot of rugby played.

A enjoyable way to finish the season.

I have really struggled to pick the players of the week recently. This week I went with Olly, he has a great never say die attitude & puts his body on the line week in week out. Well done.

To be little self-indulgent. I’ll take this opportunity to say thank you all players & parents I’ve coaching in the past six years. I have throughly enjoyed everything.

I’m moving on to Swans girls under 12’s next season.

I will miss everyone & hopefully I have installed a life long love of rugby & sport in general which will keep them all in good stead for many, many years to come.

One last task is the end of season awards party next Saturday.

Thank you all, coach Ben

The last festival of the season.

A great sunny morning in Wimborne.

Some great high intensity, physical rugby was played by all teams. Great individual & team try’s were scored. As well as we played there was some great play from the other teams making each & every game great for the spectators.

Player of the week isn’t really fair any more! Everyone is great playing as a team smashing tackles, helping each other out. It is great to watch.

However tradition dictates we need a player of the week.

This week it goes to Ronny, he has really started to make use of his assists & lead from the front.

The team photo might be the last this season. We have one Sunday left this season. Away at swans & then the end of season awards do.

Thanks coach Ben

Yesterday of a handful of our Under 11’s team made a trip to Chapel Gate and represented their school for a tag rugby tournament.

They received SO many compliments, the team’s TREDS values shone through and they played some FANTASTIC tag rugby, we were incredibly proud of their achievements and attitude to the sport!
Well Done team!!

This morning the U10’s were in Wareham playing in the Swanage & Wareham festival.

Four games against touring teams we won’t normally see.

Great physical rugby from all teams. Lots of try’s & played in a great spirit.

Player of the weeks is so difficult this time of the season as all the guys are doing great things & sometimes you just see one or two things which you have to congratulate.

This week the player of the week goes to Josh. He really epitomises minis rugby. He works hard, gets stuck in & is always enjoying himself. One of my ‘rules’ is smiles from start to finish & he does. Well down Josh.

No rugby next week, then we are off to Wimborne’s minis festival.

Thanks coach Ben

After last weeks tour. Back to the moor this week for the visit of blandfordrfc

A joint warm up & some fun games, before a physical full game.

Great rugby from both sides.

It is getting extremely difficult to pick player of the week.
This week I asked the Blandford coach to pick this week. He went for Bodi, very well done.

Next week is Easter & there is no rugby for the U10’s

Then we’re off to swans to their festival.

Poole Juniors RFC Tour 2026 to Marlow!!!!!

Under 10’s and Under 11’s

Well…. As we know, what happens on tour - STAYS on tour!!! However- WHAT A TOUR! 💙💛

Thank you to all our Tourists - new and seasoned! We hope you all had such a great time and the players have some fun stories to tell.

We played many matches in the tournament and it was fantastic to see both teams rally round to watch and support each other, cheering on from the side lines!

We are incredibly proud of our Under 10’s AND Under 11’s who BOTH Won the Tournaments TREDS trophy for their age groups!!! WELL DONE TEAMS!! 🙌🏻

Mixed with the fantastic weather and all the fun had - we’re sure they’ll sleep well tonight! 😂
See you all next Sunday for our home game, if not at training (Under 11’s!!!) on Wednesday

A short trip to Wareham this morning to play swans & Salisbury.

No joint warm up, so the guys passed the ball about & then smashed in to each other to get ready for tackling.

Two good games against Salisbury with the coaches complimenting us on how physical we were. Something they don’t get to experience that often.

We finish with a game against Swans, to round off a fun morning.

Everyone did really well, but there can be only one player of the week.
This week it goes to Josh. He put in some really big hits & continues to play with a smile, an infectious energy & enthusiasm which keeps the other guys going when needed. Great to see.

Next week we are off on tour travelling Saturday & playing in the Marlow RFC festival on the Sunday. It should be a great weekend.
