Did you know that altering your grip in training can have a positive impact on the recruitment of muscle fibers?
When you introduce new angles through a different group, it will affect the way you recruit muscle fibers through your central nervous system (CNS), which means that ultimately you will stimulate new muscle fibers and accelerate growth within the zone. This is an extremely important part of building muscle and strength, knowing how to maximize muscle recruitment across an entire muscle group by adjusting variables like GRIP.
By altering your grip, you will change the force curve your muscle is working on, which means that different levels of tension will come into play at different points. By using a new grip you will constantly create new stimulus and as such create new opportunities for overload to occur.
