LADIES SELF PROTECTION FOUNDATION WORKSHOP! ✋
Perfect for anyone completely new to training. In this workshop you’ll learn the core principles of self protection and build a solid understanding of how to keep yourself safe.

We’ll cover Soft Skills first – all of your non-physical options. This includes awareness, decision making, and recognising potential threats. We’ll use short theory sessions, real-life video examples, demonstrations, and practical drills.

Once you understand when and why situations escalate, we move into Hard Skills (physical options). You’ll learn when these are appropriate and how they differ from traditional martial arts training.

The workshop finishes with some safe, controlled role-play scenarios to help bridge the gap between the gym and real life – and it’s always a lot of fun.

This workshop is essential before progressing to the development sessions.

This was a fully improvised scenario in class, and she handled it exactly how we train.

She tried talking him down, used her voice first, set clear boundaries, and created space. When that didn’t work and the threat continued, she acted decisively. As soon as he was no longer a threat, she disengaged and moved to away to an exit, then stayed switched on and aware when he tried to get back up.

That’s what real self protection looks like.
Not just physical skills, but awareness, decision-making, and control.

She absolutely nailed it 👏
