Poole Taekwon-Do School was opened in 2014 and is the newest Trenic Taekwon-Do Academy. We are proud members of UKITF. We run classes for students aged 4+.

Poole Taekwon-Do Academy is Master Trevor Nicholls' new UK ITF Taekwon-Do Academy, and opened on Monday 14th July 2014. Master Nicholls is an 9th Degree ITF Grand Master, well respected the world over. He has been training for over 35 years and teaches regularly at club, regional, national and international level. He is very active in the development and promotion of Taekwon-Do through the Interna

tional Taekwon-Do Federation, under the Presidency of Choi, Jung Hwa, son the Choi, Hong Hi, the Founder of Taekwon-Do. Master Nicholls is Secretary General of the British Taekwondo Council, the National Governing Body for Taekwondo recognised by UK Sport. Poole Taekwon-Do Academy will launch with our Generation X and Cadet classes. These classes will be taken by Terry Humphries, 4th Degree, who has many years' experience in teaching children, young people and adults. Classes for Adults will start in the near future. Taekwon-Do is a modern martial art, based on the tenets of Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self Control and Indomitable Spirit. The delivery of UK ITF Taekwon-Do is aimed at encouraging participation by people of all ages and abilities. UK ITF is a professional organisation, with all instructors recognised, qualified and insured through the National Governing Body. UK ITF aims to offer development opportunities to all clubs and members (students and instructors) through regional, national and international events and competitions, Clubmark accreditation, instructor and umpire qualifications as well as the traditional grading syllabus. Join us at Unit 95 for a month-long female self-defence course consisting of 4 sessions.

Enhance your self-defence skills in a welcoming and secure setting. Sessions will be held every Thursday evening from 8:15 pm to 9:00 pm at Unit 95, Beta Centre, 262 Ringwood Road, Poole, BH14 0RS, commencing on September 19th.

Trenic TKD- Poole ran a four-session self defence course for women in April. The group enjoyed the activities, participating with lively enthusiasm.

Due to expressions of interest already received, a further course (£20pp) will be offered, running from Friday 14th June, 6.30-7.15pm at Unit 95, 2 The Beta Centre, 262 Ringwood Road, Poole, BH14 0RS.
