Sunday the 8th of September 2024 - Another historic day as we celebrated the all round success and development of even more teams at SCU! ⁣
⁣
⭐️The introduction of our New All Girls Section that compete in the mixed boys league ⁣
⭐️The introduction of 6 new teams to the club ⁣
⭐️The Intro of new coaches and volunteers helping and mentoring our players ⁣
⁣
A fantastic first outting for all the teams, players, and coaches on the opening day - the first passes, tackles, goals, clean sheets, hattricks, double hattricks, and most importantly - the first SMILES of the season 🤝

We look forward to the rest of season of growth and improvement on and off the field. ⁣

We Are Buzzing to Announce A Very Exciting South Coast Sunday Addition‼️👧 ⁣

The official announcement of our brand new South Coast United Girls Section is here! ⁣
⁣
We are proud to introduce our newest initiative in the SCU community. Girls and Women’s football is on the rise, however it is still treated as low level, unprofessional, and unimportant to most clubs and spectators.
⁣
This is something we vow to work hard on to change amongst the footballing world! 👊⁣
⁣
South Coast Girls will kick off this coming season in the Dorset Boys/Mixed League - prepping and training to take on the physical and emotional challenges that the boys leagues hold. ⁣Ultimately improving and progressing our girls at even higher rates than our training and coaching sessions do.
⁣
This is an amazing opportunity and initiative that we are exciting for - and will continue to work on to change the way girls play football, and how girls football is viewed by the majority forever 🙏 ⁣
