Looking for more adventure, more places to paddle? We've got you covered! We've been working closely with our great friends at Surfing England for years as their recognised Training provider for SUP. As part of our ongoing commitment to working together for the good of the sport we are pleased to announce that as of today all of our existing members and new members can now add a discounted Surfing England SUP Membership to their BSUPA Membership for just £15. By upgrading your membership to include the Surfing England SUP membership you get all of the benefits of BSUPA membership, PLUS all of the benefits of Surfing England membership, which now includes a Waterways License from the Canal & River Trust. As we head back into warmer weather, remember this simple yet brilliant advice from as the air temperature rises, water temperatures take longer to catch up, meaning that rivers, lakes, reservoirs and the sea are often much colder than the air temperature and this means cold water shock can catch you out. If you end up in the water and you’re struggling, lie back and spread your arms and legs out and relax, that gives your body the time to adjust to the water temperature while you float.
