Lytchett Minster 7's Lytchett Minster 7's festival The Lytchett Festival of Sevens Tournament was first played in 1982.

Held on the mayday weekend, teams from all over the south of England attended and have been doing so ever since. The Lytchett Minster Festival of Sevens has grown in both numbers and reputation to be the most successful sevens tournament in the South and South West of England. The weekend incorporates three days of fierce competition for all age groups and genders. Combined with a barbecue, drinks

marquee, snacks and souvenir merchandise, all located on Lytchett Minster Rugby Club's fantastic pitches makes this a very good family weekend. More than sixty teams, plus their families, supporters, officials and sponsors (around 4,000 people) attend each year.

Again sat at home after an awesome 7s weekend feeling completely spent. Thanks to all who came, hope you enjoyed the day. To the members of LMRFC I do not have the words to express how proud of you all I am!!! Exceptional effort from all concerned!

40th Anniversary of the Lytchett 7s now complete!!!
Hope all who came enjoyed it!!
I am totally spent and looking forward to bed but just want to thank all the members of LMRFC for all your hard work, Jan and her team for taking care of those injured and all who came for making the event successful!!
See you all next year I hope.

Here we go, just 5 days until the 40th Anniversary of the Lytchett 7s.
Registration for teams is at 9.30am on all days with games starting at about 10.30am.
Bands in the club on Friday, Saturday and Sunday!!
Food from smokehouse with Dozzer!!

40th !!!!!! Annual Lytchett 7s takes place on the weekend of 30th April to 2nd May.
Seniors 30th April
Ladies and U18s 1st May
U16s, U15s, and U14s 2nd May
Places are limited so get yours early!!!

Hi All
I am planning the Sunday for this year's 7s and want to make you all aware of my intentions.
Due to interest expressed, I am hoping to hold a tournament for Ladies, U18s, U16s, U15s and U14s.
I am intending that it would be the U18s, U16s, U15s, U14s as of now, who would be moving up an age group on 1st September 2021 prior to RFU moving it to 1st August 2021??
Each tournament will be for 6 teams and will be done as a league with the league leader as the winner of the tournament.
Ladies can play full rules, U18s, U16s, U15s and U14 can play the revised rules, basically full contact with no scrums or mauls.
At present I have 3 ladies teams Swans, Poole, East Dorset Dockers please confirm for me), U18s teams (Wimborne 2 and Lytchett1, again please confirm), 3 U16s teams (Wimborne 2 and Lytchett1, again please confirm), no U15s as yet and 2 U14 teams (Lytchett and Wimborne please confirm)
Let me know if you want to enter.

Dear All
I have received notification from the rfu that the 7s series is cancelled 😢. So it is with a heavy heart that for the 1st time in 38 years we are not running the Lytchett 7s.
If you have already paid an entry fee we can either return it or use it for next years tournament.
Please let me know
