Day 2 brought soaring temperatures and some testing conditions, but that didn’t stop our competitors from producing some outstanding golf. ⛳️👏

It’s all to play for as we reach the final round of the Men’s Club Championship!

Today we’ll crown our champions in both the Scratch Cup (Gross) and the Challenge Cup (Net). The competition has been fierce, and it all comes down to today’s final round.

Who will keep their nerve, rise to the occasion, and lift the trophies? 🏆

The first groups are out on the course as this year’s Men’s Club Championship gets underway.

With two days of competitive golf ahead, we’re looking forward to seeing some fantastic golf, plenty of great competition, and finding out who will be crowned our 2026 champions.

What a fantastic day at this year’s Past Captain’s Bowl! From an enjoyable round of golf to a wonderful evening dinner, it was a great success and a brilliant opportunity for our Past Captains to come together both on and off the course.

A huge congratulations to last year’s Captain, Ian Bruce, who emerged victorious to claim this year’s Past Captain’s Bowl. A well deserved win!

🌧️✨ Ladies Captain’s Day 2025 ✨🌧️

Rain certainly didn’t stop the fun at this year’s Ladies Captain’s Day! 💙

With an ABBA theme in full swing, the ladies set off full of enthusiasm (and coffee ☕) hoping to complete 18 holes. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other ideas, and play was eventually called after 9 holes. But that didn’t stop the celebrations!

🎯 Target challenge completed on the 3rd hole
🎶 ABBA classics playing at the hut
🍦 Ice creams and a quiz to keep spirits high
🍽️ A fantastic buffet to round off the day

A huge congratulations to our winners, Jo Hadley, Jane Rees and Maggie Alan-Williams, who bravely battled the elements and even continued on to the 15th hole – although sadly without any bonus points! 🏆👏

And finally, a special mention to Club Captain Clive, who embraced the theme perfectly with his ABBA T-shirt and umbrella at the ready! ☔🎤

The toughest challenge of the day? Deciding the winner of the Best ABBA Outfit competition! As the photos show, everyone looked absolutely fabulous. 💃🕺✨
